I finally finished Pidge's bayard!
Okay, so I first traced out the bayard and then cut out the cardboard (one side's black while the other one's white)

The batteries were in a plastic box, which was what determines how far apart the sides would be. So, I taped them together, making sure the switch was on the bottom of the handle. (That lil' piece of tape is there bc I poked a hole for the switch, but it didn't work)

Once that was done, I cut out some pieces and glued them in between the sides. One side was black so I could save some black paint for it.

I attached the triangle pieces and the Tetris lookin ones on each side to give it more dimension

So then I painted all the sides. I attached some carboard inside to keep the light from going in the little space. The lime green is plastic you normally find on product boxes colored with a Sharpie.

Last thing to do was cut out and color the plastic for the sides and glue hem together! This was a fun project to do, I will be showing the cosplay when I finish it
