Chapter 6.
-Kenneth Visalda-
I think I just found the right girl for me. At last dumating na din siya. I thought I will live my whole life alone and lonely. But then she came. Monique Soriano. Thanks for appreciating my coffee. You just don’t know how you made me happy.
I looking for is the one who’ll be my partner in life.
I know it won’t be hard for me to make her notice me. First is because I just saw how amazed she was by just merely seeing me. Ang pogi ko kasi e. Macho pa. Second, we already know each other. Third, we’re working in the same company, magkaiba nga lang ng department.
I just can’t wait for us to be together. I’ll invite her for a dinner. For sure she won’t reject me. Gwapo nga kasi ako. And no one dares to ignore any of my invitations even if it’s just a casual date. Well, I’m Kenneth Visalda. The hottest and sought-after Master Chef in town! The one and only.
Kaya naman inagahan ko ang labas sa Cafeteria at kinuha agad ang car ko from the basement. I parked it in front of the entrance door of the company so Monique could easily see me. And from here I would easily see her too.
I waited for some minutes bago ko nakita si Monique. Pero parang hindi niya ako nakikita. She seems to be stressed or something kasi nakasimangot siya. Who the hell did just ruin her day?
“Monique.” I called her attention. And she saw me finally. She smiled at lumapit sa akin.
“Hey. Andiyan ka pala. Sorry, I didn’t notice you.”
“Yeah.” I answered while slightly nodding my head.
“Sinong hinihintay mo?” She innocently asked. So she thinks that I’m waiting for someone else when the truth is the one I was waiting for is already in front of me.
“Hulaan mo.”
“I’m not good at guessing e. Sorry Kenneth.”
“Oh bad. You didn’t even think of pointing yourself.” She was surprised. I really find her cute. She’s so adorable. And it’s good to know that there are still women like her. Innocent and decent. And that turns me on. I think it’s challenging. Especially to guys who are as handsome as me. “I was waiting for you. I just want to invite you for a dinner.” I continued kasi speechless na siya.
“But why?” She asked, confused.
“Because it’s dinner time?”
“I mean, why with me?”
“I just want to. Is there something wrong? Is someone gonna be mad?” Ngayon ko lang naisip. Maybe she has someone special. But I really do hope that there’s none. I really don’t want to end up broken hearted lalo pa’t hindi pa ako nag-uumpisa.
“No one will and nothing’s wrong.” YES! I just feel like winning the lottery. So it just means she’single. “I was just shocked. It just never crossed my mind that someone like you would invite me for a dinner.” She continued.
