Trunks p.o.v

"Welcome back Y/n, I've been waiting for you," I yelled at myself in my head as that sounded too creepy. "Oh, um, thanks Trunks." I'm gonna blow it before she could even think about getting with me. "We have a mission to do tomorrow, so meet me here tomorrow morning." She nodded and took off, leaving me at the entrance to the time area.

*Time skip til next morning*

I waited for her like usual, in the same spot at the same time every day. 'When will I have the courage to ask her out?' I thought to myself as she arrived, her running a little late. "I'm sorry I'm late Trunks, had some things to do this morning." She was out of breath, I just chuckled and walked with her to the time scroll housing. "There you two are," Supreme kai of time yelled as she made her way towards us. I glanced over at Y/n before looking back to the Kai. "Listen, you two are running late, you guys are in so much trouble!" She yelled, she was pointing at Y/n but didn't look at me once. "I'm sorry Supreme Kai of Time, it wont happen again!" She looked at me and crossed her arms. "You're not in trouble Trunks, Y/n is, she's the reason you guys are late." I huffed and put my fists on my hips. "Who said it was her fault? Maybe I wanted to take my time because she's a lot better person than you are!" I crossed my arms and Y/n gasped, Supreme Kai of Time just put her hands on her hips. "Trunks, come to my quarters!" I reluctantly followed after her, she shut the door behind us as Y/n had to sit outside. "Say Trunks, I had a few questions." I cocked a brow and looked at her, "and that is?" Her pink skin on her cheeks faded to a red as she spoke. "Do you like someone?" My face heated, "yeah, why?" I felt my heart start to race, "what is she like?" There were too many words to describe how incredible Y/n was to me. "She's smart, funny, hard working, caring and very beautiful." Her face blushed a bright red as she clung to my arm. "Oh Trunks, I love you two," A worried expression covered my face as I shook her off of my arm and backed away. "It's not you, you're like a sister to me!" The thought of liking Time disgusted me, I could never like her like that. "Then who do you like?" I gulped and looked down, "Y/n." She gasped, "you'd rather be with a time patroller than a kai?" She was taken aback when I shook my head, she then pointed to her door. "Get out!" She yelled and I walked out, greeting Y/n down the stairway. "How did it go?" She asked and I shrugged, "probably just got fired." She gasped and looked at me, "it was my fault wasn't it?" I shook my head, "oh no, it was nothing to do with you. She likes me and I didn't accept it." She nodded and leaned in, "who do you like then Trunks?" My face flushed but I turned my head away with a smile. "Someone special," Was all I said and she giggled. "Any girl you like is special because then she gets to see what a great guy you are." Her voice seemed to drop, as if she lost hope in something. "What's wrong Y/n?" She shook her head, "nothing Trunks." I grabbed her hand, "you have to tell me." She just laughed and looked down. "It's because I like someone too," My heart sank, "who is it?" She laughed, "oh, you know him very well." I thought of people, "Goten?" She shook her head, "Gohan?" Again, she shook her head. "It's you Trunks," A smile emitted on my face as I hugged her tightly. "Y/n, you're that special girl I like." I told her honesty and she smiled, we pulled out of the hug. "So, will you be my girlfriend?" She smiled, "Time will hate you then." I laughed, "as long as you, I don't care." She giggled and kissed my cheek, "then yes Trunks."
