In the slightly awkward silence of Lexas living room on a hot Tuesday evening Clarke sits on her brown leather couch, one leg tucked under her as she sits on it the other leg dangles off, turned sideways to watch Lexa. "Nice home"

Lexa walks over to the couch handing Clarke her glass of whine, who takes it from Lexas hand.

Lexa sits on the couch besides Clarke "thanks"

Feeling awkward and unsure of what to do Clarke takes a sip of her drink noticing a picture frame on the wall of the very topic shes been thinking about since Lexa told her "So how old is she?" Clarke speaks softly adverting her eyes back to Lexa.

Lexa looks up from the beer in her hands her eyes meeting shimmering blues, Sophia quickly becoming a topic of discussion. Even though herself and Clarke have known each other since they were 7, as well as started dating at the tender age of 13, Lexa suddenly feels like shes talking to a perfect stranger. The last 10 years has shaped the two into different people, Lexa was now a CEO of the family business and she had a daughter a far cry from who she used to be.

"18 months. Shes the cutest little thing" Lexa smiles to herself "She doesn't live with me here. Me and her mother tried to get together but it didnt work out we broke up 3 months before Sophia was born its not to bad I mean i have her every other weekend, I'll have her again on Friday then she'll go back to her mothers in the afternoon. She comes over on scattered days here and there as well, work permitting of course" Clarke nods

"Im not sure why I gave you the hole having Sophia schedule" Lexa rambles on somewhat nervously causing Clarke to laugh lightly

"Its fine i wanna hear about your life, Im just still in shock, you have an 18 month old" Lexa huffs

"I know its hard for me to believe it sometimes, I have this tiny human that im supposed to look after when im not entirely sure I can look after myself at times" they both let out a little chuckles

Lexa looks down playing with the label on her beer. She wants, no needs, to get what shes thinking out of her mind taking a breath "shes a product of you you know" she says whilst exhaling the breath so just took

Clarke furrows her eyebrows "how so?"

Lexa huffs she doesnt know if she should tell Clarke the story, but she just has to let Clarke know that she was thinking of her painfully for every year they've been apart "One night I was looking through an old photo album of us that I still have I was feeling sad, and i couldnt stop thinking about you, didnt matter what i did you just kept creeping in my thoughts, so i went for a walk and found myself in this run down bar on 7th then i met this girl named Costia, she reminded me of you well your strong spirit and your positive energy.."

..Lexa sits at the quite end of the dark bar alone shes abit past tipsy but the bartender grants her lastest order of a freash beer

"Ok girly last one and im cutting you off, bars closing, here enjoy" the bartender says handing Lexa the cold refreshing bitter drink

Just as she takes the first sip of her new beer someone comes and sits next to her. Lexa turns her head she double takes making sure shes not seeing angels she looks so much like...

"hey"

"Hi" Lexa takes a gulp of her beer

"Easy tiger you better slow down, not that i can talk" The girl holds out her drink sipping on the red liquid in the tall glass

"I dont care" Lexa responses bluntly

"ok.. someones gloomy"

Lexa shrugs "i have a right to be" The girl stares at her for a mintue eyes falling down to Lexas lips
