Clarke and Lexa stroll through a park on a breezy afternoon, trees swaying with the low chatter of the passing people.

"That's crazy about Lincoln and Octavia right" Lexa asks, hands in her pockets.

"Yeah seems like everyone is having a kid but me" Clarke chuckles dryly with her head cast downwards. She thought she'd be married with kids right about now but she'd come to realise it was her own fault if she didnt do what she did those 10 years ago maybe that dream would of been her reality.

"You will one day" Lexa said deep down wanting it to be with her.

The blonde lifts her head up, giving her a small smile.

There was a small awkward silence before it was broken by Lexa

"Do you want kids though?"

"Are kidding me of course, I'd always thought we'd have a child but then I had to go ruin things" Clarke shakes her head at herself remembering what she did for the second time today, she had to live with it haunting her and she hated it.

Lexa grabs Clarkes arm stopping them both from walking.

"Hey, look at me I've forgiven you we've started new ok that's the past it's done and we cant change it"

"I know that but I cant help it" she say truthfully

"So tell me how many kids would you want?" Lexa asks changing the subject

They resume walking "maybe three. What about you?"

"Well I always wanted four as you know" they laughed together remembering a time Clarke had asked Lexa how many kids she wanted to which Clarke said a big hell no to four, there was no way she'd go through that four times!

"I already have Sophia so I'd like another three more but I'd be happy with two whatever happens happens you know, but I want Sophia to be aleast 7 before I have anymore shes my main focus right now" Clarke nodded her head.

They come to a stop at an ice cream vender.

"Do you want one?" Lexa asks with a nod in the direction of the vender

Clarke nods "sure" she smiles

Lexa walks up to order but turns back to Clarke "Strawberry with chocolate sprinkles right?"

Clarke suddenly felt some type of way. Lexa had remembered her favourite although she really shouldn't of been that surprised even after  all this time apart they just seemed to click and fit into place with one another. Clarke would be lying if she said that in those 10 years apart she hadn't thought about Lexa and where she was or who she was with, she even went as far as trying to find the brunette on any social media but her efforts turned up nothing she couldn't find Lexa anywhere, until she heard from Octavia that is. Hearing about all the things Lexa had been getting up to made her heart swell but at the same time it broke her heart it seemed like Lexa was doing perfectly fine without her. Little did she know.

Clarke smiled sweetly at Lexa and gave a slight nod to which Lexa turned and started to order.

With their ice creams in hand they continued to walk and talk.

"Ok I have one, would you rather a bionic arm or leg choose wisely" Lexa takes a spoonful of her chocolate ice cream.

"Hmm bionic leg" Clarke answers

"What, really an arm would be much cooler I'm just saying, and it'd be awesome to show off at a party" Clarke scoops some ice cream onto her spoon before eating it.

"You could do that with a leg too and plus I could have one of those blades so i can run faster" they both begin to laugh neither knew how they had got into a game of would you rather but they were having a great time together it felt like old times when they would talk about any random thing they could think about.

"Ok speed round" Lexa says after she stops laughing

"Cat or dog?"

"Dog"

"Day or night?"

"Night" Clarke answers

"Top or bottom?"

"Top" Clarke answers causing Lexa turn to her with a raised eyebrow as she takes a spoonful of ice cream

Clarkes cheeks flush "how times have changed" Lexa laughs as Clarke hits her in the arm

"Shut up, I wasnt the bottom all the time thank you" the blonde hits Lexas arm again "and if I remembering correctly you really enjoyed it on the bottom" Lexa blushed her mind going back to the times they had spent together they were some of her greatest memories with the blonde.

"Ok let's go before you get more violent those hits really hurt" Lexa says as she holds her arm walking to the trash can to throw her empty ice cream container away.

With one last spoonful, Clarke does the same "fine cry baby let's go" she says through a slight crackle. Beginning to leave with the brunette.
