Lexa wakes to the of her alarm she rolls over, grabs her phone and shuts the annoying sound off, she set an alarm to get up early and get ready before Sophia would wake up. She gets out of bed and heads for the shower.

Once she finishes in the shower and drys off she puts on some dark jeans and a plain white t-shirt and heads back into her bathroom to brush her teeth, standing in front of the mirror she puts a small amount of toothpaste on her pale blue toothbrush before beginning to brush. As she stands there staring at her reflection in the wall length bathroom mirror she cant help but think about today and the fact that she'd be seeing Clarke again, she'd be lying if she said she wasnt nervous its the first time Clarkes spending time with Sophia and meeting her properly, if that doesn't get her nerves going then nothing will.

As she trys to calm her raging butterflies, she hears Sophia whine from down the hall "coming baby hold on" Lexa calls out as she finishes up, putting her toothbrush back in the holder on the wall.

As Lexa peaks into Sophia's room she see's the 18 month old standing clinging to her cribs railing "ma" the baby puts her small arms out as if asking for Lexa to come closer smiling she walks over cooing at the little girl "there she is, my gorgeous girl. Come here" she reaches into the crib picking Sophia up "good morning" Lexa kisses her temple making the baby laugh, Sophia cuddles into Lexa holding the hem of the neck part of her shirt "lets get you ready huh we've got a big day ahead"

Lexa sits on a bench, Sophia in her stroller in front of Lexa and she feeds the little girl some cheese snacks as they wait for Clarke its 10 minutes to 11am, the mother and daughter have been sitting at the bench for a good 15 minutes that was until Sophia started to get a bit restless so Lexa brought out the big guns: food. That always seems to calm Sophia  definitely my daughter Lexa thinks to herself.

Not 5 minutes later and Clarke walks over to them holding a small stuffed teddy bear in her right hand "hi" she tucks a loose stand of her behind her ear almost like a somewhat nervous habit, Lexa looks up but not before slyly looking the stunning blonde in front of her over "hey, you look nice"

Clarke chuckles "its just a summer dress" she rolls her eyes

"I always said you looked beautiful in the simplest of clothing, atleast i was right about something" Lexa smiled but quickly realized that might have been abit forward and a small silence followed.

"You always were a charmer" Clarke looks down with a small blush gracing her cheeks thats when Clarke noticed the toy in her hand.

She takes a set on the bench besides Lexa "I hope you dont mind but I wanted to-" she pauses briefly suddenly becoming nervous "I wanted to get her something I dont know what sort of things she likes but I figured I couldn't go wrong with a stuffed toy" she holds the toy out to show Lexa

"You didnt have too but you hit the nail on the head, she loves her stuffed animals my house is full on them" the two adults gaze at each other for a second Clarke almost silently asking if she can give Sophia the toy Lexa only smiles, small hands reach for the toy grasping it before holding the brown bear close.

"I think she likes it" Lexa says looking at her daughter hugging the teddy for dear life "what do we say Sophia? Thank you Clarke" the baby looks over to Clarke then back to the toy holding it out in front of her examining it closely "ba-bear" she squeals.

Lexa and Clarke both laugh at the little girl "we're still working on thank you"

"So hows work going?" Clarke asked as the three of them walked to the lake, Lexa pushing the stroller. She'd been told everything by Lincoln and Octavia about how successful Lexa has been and what she was doing with the family company that Clarke already knew was big back when her and Lexa had dated. It filled Clarkes heart with pride in a way to know that Lexas ambitions and dreams had become reality even if she wasnt there to witness it happen.
