(A/N I'm running out of ideas and I'm just tired now. Enjoy!)

"I swear I saw her flirting with my boyfriend!" Tiana blurts out.
Brian blushes and turns away. I think I even hear him whisper, "She's dang cute tho."
"Alright, well she can't keep getting away with this!" Sierra proclaims.
"I snuck over her shoulder and found out her locker combination," Cameron smirks menacingly. "We're going to put a few things in there." His voice sends chills down my spine.
"Don't you think that's a little too far? I mean, can't we get expelled for vandalizing?" I suggest, trying to imply that we shouldn't do it.
"Since when did you become such a downer?" Grace asks. "You know we have ways to not get caught."
I nod, complying with the group.

Cameron closes the locker. "Now that that's done, we know nothing," he smiles. Sierra high fives him.
Grace looks at her phone. "Oh my gosh, we're almost out of time! It's 2:14, we'd better run!"
"Break!" Sierra yells, and we all split up.

I quietly walk into class as the bell rings. I have to fight though the wave of students leaving the room, but I finally get inside at the moment everyone else is gone. I look around the room for the teacher, but I guess he left early.
I quickly grab my backpack and head towards the door before I suddenly pause.
I notice Ryan's still sleeping, so I walk over to his desk and poke him. "You okay, bro?"
He stirs a little. "I wish that too.." he mutters.
I raise an eyebrow. Is he sleep talking?
"I miss you more," he whispers.
"WHAT?!?" I shout in attempt to wake him up.
He stumbles and falls out of his chair. "What the heck?!"
"Exactly," I laugh, offering my hand. He takes it and I help him up. "What were you dreaming about?"
He blushes. "Was I sleep talking?"
I nod. "You said 'I miss you more'. Are you dating someone?"
He laughs, shaking his head. "It's just a relative that I haven't seen in a while. Why do you ask?"
I shrug. "Just curious."
He smirks. "Are you jel-"
"NO!! Shut up, Ryan! Stop assuming things!" I run out of the classroom before he can say anything else.

I wake up in the morning, relieved that it's finally Saturday. I stay in bed for an hour before getting up and going downstairs.
My mom is sitting at the TV with full attention. I get myself some cereal before listening in.

"Seth Greenfield and Kacey Valentine seem to be last night's victims on the SilverLake High Missing Case. Here's what police have to say on the matter:"

I let my cereal fall off my spoon and my eyes widen as a picture of a familiar situation pops up on screen.

"... It appears that her locker was vandalized on the day she went missing. No one knows why, but this leads us to believe that these children are in fact suicide victims..."

I lost my appetite. I push my cereal away from me and lay my head on the table. The table will understand. It doesn't hate me... probably.
"What's wrong?" My mother asks.
I look up. "I know who vandalized her locker... and it makes me feel sick."
She sits next to me."Maybe we should tell the school."
I shake my head. "I-I don't know their names. Just their faces."
She sighs. "Well, don't skip breakfast. I have an appointment this morning, and to be honest, I really don't want to go."
I smile. I love how open she is. "Then cancel it," I suggest.
She stands up. "I would if it wasn't so important. And if my job didn't depend on it. I even had to cancel going to a friend's birthday party for this."
I start to laugh. "I didn't think you cared about that. I mean, adults don't murder you for not coming to parties, right?"
She pretends to be offended. "I'm the life of the party! This puts a damper on my reputation, you know."
I pull the bowl of cereal back towards me and start using the spoon to push around the cereal in its small pond of milk. "It is more important to go to the appointment, right?"
She nods. "If I didn't, I'd be letting you down, and that's a lot more important to me than some old reputation."
I look up at her. "You think so?"
She hugs me. "Of course! It doesn't matter how cool anyone else thinks I am; you're the source of my happiness, and letting you down would mean the end of the world to me."
I hug her back. "I love you."
She squeezes me a little too tight.
"Mom, I need to breathe!!" I gasp.
"Sorry," she giggles. "I just haven't heard you say that in a while. I'll see you later!"
I watch her step out the door and close it behind her.
I start eating my cereal.
