CHAPTER 23

"Aapko kya baat karni hai mujhse?" Anika asked Shivaay with utmost confusion.

"Wo Vikrant kaun hai?" Shivaay questioned.

"Kya matlab kaun hai? Friend hai mera" Anika replied coldly.

"Tum aise kyu reply karti ho mujhe? I mean you were never like this before in the Chawl" Shivaay growled.

"That should not be your matter of concern Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi. Mujhe jaise baat karne ka man karega, mai waise karungi" She told with confidence

Shivaay came close to her and pulled her closer, "Tum jaise bhi nahi baat kar sakti." 

"Aap choriye mujhe" she struggled under his grip

"Chodne ke liye nahi pakda hai", he forwarded his face towards her ears while she felt shivers running down her spine. What is happening with her?

"I miss the old chulbuli and masti khor Anika" he whispered in her ears. Anika felt contented in his arms but something felt wrong. She pushed him with all her force

"Kaunsi Anika ki baat kar rahe hai aap? Wo jiska aapne sab kuch chin liya? Agar apka parivaar nahi hota to, I would have been on streets. Wo Anika apke badle ke baad hi mar gayi" she blurted out and Shivaay instantly placed his palm on her mouth.

"Marne ki baat mat karo, tumne to mujhe maaf kar diya tha na?" he asked her with a pleading look

"Maaf kar diya lekin bhula nahi pai hun. Aapne mujhe wo Chawl chodne pe majboor kiya, mera ghar chodne pe majboor kiya" she had tears in her eyes

Shivaay wiped the tears from her face, she could see some untold feelings in his eyes for her but couldnt make a guess.

"Maine tumhe rulaya hai lekin aaj ke baat kabhi rota hua nahi dekh paunga" he said.. He felt the urgent need to hug her, make her believe that he has changed for the good. Following his heart, he leaned towards her and hugged her. She didn't hug him back but later gave up and hugged him with equal urge.

Shivaay woke up with a smile on his lips, thinking about their hug, first hug. This hug felt the best in the world.

"Mai kyun Anika ke baare me itna sochta rehta hun? Ab to usne maafi bhi de di" he thought but there was no answer

He got ready in a bliss and wearing casuals, came out of the room

Splash...

Shivaay was standing drenched with water and eyes closed. He heard giggling sound of..

"Anika.."  he  screamed only to see her laughing her lungs out. Nobody was there to look at them. Shivaay got angry at the beginning but seeing Anika's laughing face, his anger vanished in no time and he joined her in the laughing session

"Aap kyun has rahe hai? Paani maine appe mara hai hai?" she narrowed her eyes

"So.. Mai to tumhe dekhke has raha tha. Do you know, you look like a cartoon while laughing" he said

"Mai.. cartoon?? Kis angle se? Cartoon to aap hai, kanji aakhon wale.. Nahi nahi, aapko dekhke koi hasega nahi, balki dar jayega. Stone Singh Oberoi" she again began to laugh

"SSO ki tadi hai different level ki hai" he did his characteristic pose while she gawked him

"Apki tadi baad me dekhenge, pehle kapre badliye, hume der ho rahi hai" she said and turned her face, walked down to the 3rd floor.

"Yeh ladki bhi na pagal hai" he said to himself and went to change his clothes.

"Baby, abhi 6 am me hum kyu ja rahe hai?" Tia chipped in her sleepy mood

"Aaye hai to ghumna to padega na Tia" Shivaay said, making an irritated face while Rudy giggled

"Bhaiya, I can't believe aaj aap late ho gaye the" Rudy complained while Shivika looked at each other, suppressing their laugh.

"Kya kare Rudy, kuch logo ko enjoyment karna hi nahi aata, sirf kaam kaam aur kaam hi hai" Anika said

"As if tumhe bada enjoy karna aata hai" Shivaay gave her a questioning look

"Aapse to jyada hi" she said in a low tone

"I heard that"

Soon they reach the Baratang Island to see the limestone caves.

"Thank you so much Bhaiya yeh trip plan karne ke liye, these are so beautiful" Soumya jumped in excitement.

"Jyada chillao mat Soumya, yeh tribe to pata nahi chalna chahiye ki tum aayi ho" Rudy said in a serious tone

"Kyu?" Gauri asked

"Wo ise apne parivaar ka samajhke utha ke leke jayenge na" he began to laugh again on his lame joke

"Iska kuch nahi ho sakta" Om said

"Agar aap thoda has denge to tax nahi lagega" Gauri told Om and he rolled his eyes, 'Whatever'

"Anika, Vikrant aaj nahi hai?" Tia asked

"Uska trip khatam hua, flight hai na aaj uski wapas Mumbai" Anika replied and Shivaay sighed in relief

"Oh, short time friend" she commented 

THE WHOLE DAY WENT ON SEEING THE PLACES, ADMIRING THE NATURAL BEAUTY, CUTE MOMENTS AND FUN

"Mai yeh trip apni zindagi me nahi bhulungi" Anika said

"Same goes for me" Soumya and gauri said in unison.

"Hum return kab ho rahe hai?" Gauri asked

"Mera bas chale to mai yahi chod tu tumhe" Om told

"Shut up, kyun meri behen ko itna tang karte ho. Gauri, hum kal raat return karenge" Shivaay answered Gauri

The girls were busy together whereas the bros were talking on some random topic

"Return hote hi tujhe apna decision batana hoga Shivaay"  Om made him aware

"I know Om.. Mai ab bhi sure nahi hun, I need some more time" Shivaay told them

"Ek baat samajh me nahi aa rahi Bhaiya, aapko pehle se pata tha ki one day or the other you will be getting married to that lady baba, tabhi apko koi objection nahi thi kyunki aap love me believe hi nahi karte the na. Ab apko relationship me compatibility kyun chahiye?" Rudy asked him.

"Exactly Shivaay, mai bhi yahi sochta hun.. Its not ki  the present you is not better, its best lekin as far as I know you, tujhe kabhi bhi love ya phir romance me interest hi nahi tha.. Tere liye Shaadi humesha se ek deal thi.. Ab kya hua?" Om paused and then resumed with his final question

"Have you started liking someone?"
