CHAPTER 31

"Bhaiya..."
"Shivaay... Shivaay.."
"Bhaiya.."

Rudy and Om had been shouting his name from past 15 mins but he was in no mood to get up. The early riser Shivaay is sleeping like a kiddo in his bed with torned clothes. This was not an usual scene in front of OmRu.

Finally, he woke up with heavy head.

"Jagiye Bhaiya... Kya Sapna dekh rahe hai?" Rudy asked.

'Was it all a dream? Kya Anika...' he thought.

"Tere kapdo ki aisi haalat? Aur kal ki meeting me kya hua?" Om questioned. Just then the yesterday's incident flashed in his mind.

"Mai aapse pyaar nahi karti.. Aap mujhe nahi khareed sakte"

Her words ringed. How he ended up in a bar after that and consumed load of drinks. Its truly said that sharaab gham bhulane me madadgaar hai.

"Bataiye Bhaiya" Rudy insisted

"Kuch nahi..." Saying this, he disappeared behind the bathroom door.

"Inhe kya hua?" OmRu said in unison

On the other hand, Anika's eyes were also fluffy due to constant crying the previous night. But when you know that life is not supportive then there arises no question of a chance to that relationship.

Splashing water a number of times, she tried to hide her emotions.  As soon as she entered the dining room, she was welcomed by the Oberoi Family.

"Kal kab aaye tum dono?" Pinky enquired.

Anika looked at Shivaay's direction but he was busy munching his food.

"Wo Pinky Aunty, hume thoda late ho gaya" she replied while looking at Shivaay through the corner of her eyes.

"I am leaving for office" Shivaay got up.

"Wait a min Shivaay. Anika bhi to jayegi na tumhare saath, so let her finish the breakfast" Jhanvi told him.

"She can come by taxi, I am getting late" he said.

"Chup kar khotiye aur baith yaha" Dadi held his hand and made him sit on his seat.

Anika completed her breakfast and got up to leave whereas Shivaay was already waiting for her.

"We are leaving"

They sat silently on the car, no one was ready to speak.

Their silence ended after 15 mins when Shivaay fastened the speed of his car and Anika had to shout his name in fear.

"Shivaay...." her eyes depicted fear

He applied the brake and both got jerked forward. Then also, he didn't utter a single word.

The whole day passed in a jiff, although Anika tried to converse with him due to some office works but he preferred to do his work via Khanna.

"Baby, I am back" Tia clinged on to Shivaay while he reluctantly hugged her.

Breaking the hug, she asked "How was your day?"

"Kuch logo ki wajah se thoda spoiled hai" he looked towards Anika

"I missed you" she uttered

He hummed in reply.

"Shivaay, ab bohut time le liya tumne.. We need your decision" Tej said as Mrs Kapoor has been asking since long.

Just then, he remembered that how he planned to propose Anika and marry her instead of Tia. But everything is finished.

"Yes Baby, even mom has been nagging" Tia said

"You will get to know tomorrow" saying this, he left the place to his room.

Knock knock....

"Come in" Shivaay said

OmRu entered..

"Tum dono kab se permission lene lage?" Shivaay asked.

"Aaj kal bohut kuch naya hone laga hai Bhaiya" Rudy said

"Matlab?" he frowned in confusion.

"tu humse baat nahi share karta, apni problems nahi batata and humari bhi nahi sunta" Om said

"Obro moment bhi nahi hota" Rudy added.

"Haan.. Kal tak hume in sab se koi issues nahi tha kyunki tere face pe ek glow tha and you looked happy but kal raat se kuch theek nahi lag raha. Bata na Shivaay" Om insisted.

"Its just work load and nothing else. Mai kyu chupaunga kuch mere bhaiyo se?" he said pretending to be calm.

"Aur marriage ka kya plan hai Bhaiya?" Rudy asked

"Kal pata chalega" Shivaay said in a low voice

"Hume to bataiye" Rudy said

"Dekh Shivaay, we respect your decision. So apne baare me sochke sab faisla lena not because Tia hurt hogi. You know very well ki shaadi ke baad you will have to live with her forever" Om said. Not able to control.his emotions further, Shivaay hugged him.

"Kuch dino me bohut complicated ho gaya hai sab" he sobbed.

"Is that about Anika?" Om asked. Thanks to his keen observations in the previous week, he had seen the immense care of his brother for her. But Shivaay was baffled, how should he react now?

"No.. Its not about her. Business is the one jaha mujhe focus karna hai but.." Shivaay made the excuse.

"Hey.. Business and marriage are poles apart" Om patted his back

"Mai rotlu hun, aap nahi Bhaiya.. Chaliye, ab Obro moment ho jaye?" Rudy cheered up the environment. That's the best part of him to make anyone smile

Their moment was witnessed by a pair of moist eyes, whose heart was full of guilt. It was none other than Anika.

"I am sorry Shivaay" she murmured under her breath

"Will you marry me and complete my life?" The man kneeled down holding the woman's hand

"Oh My God, I can't believe it" She was on cloud nine after the proposal.

The crowd clapped while a lone tear escaped from the eyes of a girl standing far from the family area.

"I am Sorry par yeh zaroori tha apke aur mere bhalai ke liye" she told and consoled her broken heart.

The man slid the platinum ring in the finger of his would be wife.

"Aww... My Shivaay baby" she hugged him and he just glared at Anika who was standing at a distance, leaning to the pillar.

"Chal ab Anika bhi kam me lag ja Puttar, mere pote ki shaadi hai" Ddi chipped in
