CHAPTER 37

"She is my wife, Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi, my life and my love"

Anika woke up with a jerk after she took a nap in the afternoon forcibly. These words aren't ready to leave her so easily, haunting her day and night but the person behind all this is missing. The man is none other than Shivaay, her husband. Its so frustrating that she has not seen his face after the incident as he left for some so called business meeting in Delhi.

"What he must be thinking? Agar wo kuch bhi soch rahe honge, to clear karna chahiye na. Aise bhagne se kya hoga?"

Her trance was broken by an elderly voice

"Kya mai andar aa sakti hun?" Dadi asked.

Anika adjusted her dress and set aside the pillow.

Dadi along with Pinky and Jhanvi entered her room. She isn't sleeping in Shivaay's room as it would be rude to take over his room without his permission. Although she has equal rights now.

"Beta, tabyat kaisi hai ab?" Jhanvi asked with concern in her voice.

"Ab thik hun Jhanvi aunty" she answered.

"Badi maa bulane ki aadat daal lo Anika aur mujhe Ma bulane ki bhi" Pinky uttered and she was overwhelmed to witness the love of a family.

"Mujhe pata hai puttar ki jo bhi hua achanak hua aur uske baad se tujhe Shivaay se baat karne ka mauka bhi nahi mila. Lekin bishwas rakh ki mere pote ne ye sab bas tere baare me sochke hi kiya. Agar kuch bhi takleef hai to bata dena, apne man me mat rakhna" Dadi said.

"Ab ek hi problem hai. Jab se media ko Anika ke baare me pata chala hai, they are trying hard to find info about her. Iske baare me hume bhi kaha pata hai" Jhanvi chipped and she wasn't wrong in it

"Jethani ji theek keh rahi hai. Humne jitna bhi tujhe jana hai, tu pasand hai. Lekin tere aur Shivaay ke equations ke baare me bhi hume janna hai" Pinky said and the proposal day flashed in her mind.

"Jo bhi ho, ye Oberoi Khandan ki bahu to hai. Aaj Shivaay aa raha hai, hum usse hi puch lenge" Dadi told.

"Thank God he is coming. I wanna talk to you so badly" Anika thought

Without even sparing a glance at Anika, Shivaay moved up to his room and it hurt her though it is much more less pain than what he has gone through all these days. This incident changed two lives in a second.

"Bhaiya jald hi niche aa jayenge, this discussion is surely important" Rudy said with a punch of seriousness.

"Zyada serious mat ban Rudy, tujhe suit nahi karta" Om whispered in his ear and he passed him a look.

"Lo, mera Shivaay aa gaya" After 15 mins, he came down in his informal kurta and pajama

"Bataiye, kis baat pe discussion hai?" he said ignoring Anika all while.

"Dekh puttar, ye shaadi jaisi bhi huyi ho par tune uski mang me sindoor to bhara hai aur Anika Oberoi Khandan ki bahu hai" Dadi said

"Mai nahi manta iss shaadi ko. Whatever I did was just to save her from life long embarrassment and nothing else" Shivaay uttered.

"Don't you love me?" Anika wanted to scream.

"See Shivaay, bhale hi marriage certificate naa ho par according to media, the most eligible bachelor is married and its trending" Tej roared.

"I cant help bade papa. She can stay in my house but she is not my wife" Shivaay put his point

"See, mai tumhe shaadi ko maanne ko nahi keh raha hun. Par you guys have to stay like husband and wife in front of the world otherwise business might get affected. After 6 months, we will be showing your divorce. No need to worry" Both Shivika looked up in shock. A fake marriage in front of the world for 6 months, this is going to be tough.

"Aisa kuch nahi hoga. Mere liye ye bahu hai aur Shivaay ki patni. 6 mahine hone se bhi ye log pati patni hai, ghar ke andar ho ya bahar media ke samne" Dadi said.

"This is not possible Dadi. Mai aur Anika... Kabhi nahi" Shivaay said.

"Mujhe kuch nahi pata par ye mera akhri faisla hai.".

"Mummy ji theek keh rahi hai, fakes marriage se problem hi hogi." Pinky said.

"Par ma.." Shivaay wanted to say no but he was interrupted by Shakti.

"6 mahine dekh lo Shivaay. shaadi koi khel nahi hai, kya pata iss bich tum dono ko ek duje ka saath pasand aane lage?"

"I already love her dad lekin mai uspar ye decision force nahi karna chahta" Shivaay thought

"Par hum to Anika ke baare me kuch bhi nahi jaante" Tej chipped

"Hum ispar baad me discuss karenge. Dono ab apne kamre me jau aur Anika apna saman bhi shift kar lena Shivaay ke kamre me" Dadi said

Anika was waiting for Shivaay to come to their room. She had almost put her clothes in the wardrobe but this man is definitely testing her patience.

He entered with his usual tadi.
"Tadibaaz" she commented but he royally ignored it and her first attempt to gain his attention failed

"Shivaay mujhe aapse baat karni hai" Finally she spoke up.
