Chapter 3
"Where there is love there is life."~Mahatma Gandhi
On the way to the house there's a car crash. Me and Cameron sit there for 10 minutes just watching.
"How ironic, Easter is about the resurrection of Jesus and here we are watching a life threatening accident" He says with a plain face
He turns chalk white. I look where he's looking. We see the paramedics pick up bodies on a gurney with blood all over them. Cameron swings open the door. I chase after him.
"Mom...dad!" He screams with a quivering voice.
I take a closer look at the bodies. It is his parents. They're drenched with blood. The police pushes us back.
"You can't go in there." He says with a deep voice.
"That's my mom and dad" Cameron says tearing up.
The police lets him in and stops me. I already know why, plus I want Cameron to have a moment with his parents.
Chapter 4
"Love is when the other person's happiness is more important than your own."~H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
I called my parents to inform them of what happened, they said they'll be on their way. Cameron is in the waiting room with his fingers through his hair.
"You may see the person you're waiting for." The nurse says.
Cameron grabs my hand and looks at me. He looks so vulnerable.
"I really need you."
"I'm not going anywhere." I say starring straight into his eyes.
We get into the room and his parents are in Coma. Cameron runs to his mom and dad and starts to cry. I reach for the door knob...
"...Wait don't leave." Cameron says while tears are falling down his face.
I turn and sit down by his side.
"Thank you" He looks at me and grabs my hand.
