It's been two weeks since I walked out on Cameron. I'm such an ass. How could I abandon Cameron right now with everything that's going on with his parents?!
"...Hey it's Cameron sorry I couldn't get to the phone right now leave a message and I'll get back to you ASAP.
"Hey Cam I'm sorry about everything. Call me back when you get this message bye."
"Jess?"
"Ya mom."
"Can I come in sweetheart?"
"Yea."
As she walks in her face is red and she's teary-eyed.
"Mom what's wrong?" I asked really concerned.
"Ummmm... So you know how Cameron's parents got into the really bad car accident?."
There was no need to finish the sentence. I get up and grab a big bag. I start to pack everything I might need for a week. I can't believe I'm not going through this with him.
"What are you doing?" My mom asks.
"He needs me."
I rush out the door and go to the hospital.
