"Percy! Percy!"

With a slight groan, Percy Jackson's dull eyes fluttered open. He stared blearily at his surroundings for a moment. Then his eyes widened in terror, the dullness left behind as they turned a sharp green once more.

The woman striding toward him had to be seven feet tall. Sharp cheekbones angled across her face, setting off her black eyes. Her dress was constantly shifting, an endless supply of earth. She stopped a foot away from where he lay and gently nudged his side. Seeing that he was awake, she placed her foot onto his back. He let out a whimper of pain.

"You have failed, Perseus Jackson. You were foolish to think you could ever stand against me. Heroes of Olympus, ha! Olympus has fallen because of you." She said quietly. Her tone was rich, full of malice.

She spun around, swishing her dress magnificently. Before her lay the other demigods of prophecy, all at her will. A hint of a smile crossed her blood-red lips as they struggled to free themselves from the earth.

"Fools! Each of you! I could kill you. I could make you suffer. I could burn your eyes out slowly while making you watch your loved ones die." She paused and bent down next to Annabeth, who immediately froze with terror.

"But you have done me a favor. You unknowingly sacrificed two half-bloods to wake me. You came to me, leaving Olympus unguarded. Yes, I truly owe you a favor." She reached out and gently stroked Annabeths cheek. Percy let out a growl of protest.

"Another life. Oh, you will pay ten times over. Twenty times. You will watch the world burn. Oh, there'll be other heroes to help, I'm sure. But it will be helpless. There is nothing you can do to stop us." She whispered evilly. "There are other heroes to kill." She stood up and throwing her head back and arms out, a black fog began to circle the room. It swirled over the seven heroes, the fallen demigods, before finally shrouding her in darkness.

The seven heroes struggled and called out to each other to no end as the fog overtook them. Percy, already weak, succumbed to its lure first. He went limp and ceased struggling with an anguished groan. One by one, the other heroes joined him in the darkness.
