Comin' over in my direction
So thankful for that, it's such a blessin', yeah
Turn every situation into heaven, yeah
Oh-oh, you are
My sunrise on the darkest day
Got me feelin' some kind of way****Salim's POV**
I was surprised after finding out Aisha is Muhammad's bride. It's such a coincidence that we haven't met until the wedding. He wanted Ayman and I to meet his bride since all his friends had except us, but didn't get the chance to.
She looked so different yesterday with all the face painting.Amal looked breathtaking even though I'm not a make-up person I had to admit it. On seeing her yesterday I wanted to go talk to her but I hate the feeling she gives me when I see her. Seeing them laughing with Ayman made me want to know what they were talking about so I walked straight to them without knowing what to say and to add it up Ayman left us all alone. I made her wait telling her to make our parents cancel the wedding though it hurts her she kept hiding it and she was right when she said I had my own mouth to talk to her father myself.
I and Fatiyyah were heading out of the wedding hall when we head someone screaming.
"Do you hear someone screaming? The voice sounds so familiar" I said trying to figure out the voice.
"Yeah it sounds so familiar it sounds like Amal's. Wait! Amal? Yeah s..sh.e we..nt ou..t s..he" Fatiyyah said starting to panic but I zoned her out running to the direction of the voice.
A guy was trying to push her into his car but she was not letting the car handle go. Rolling my kaftan sleeve, I pulled him off her and immediately started landing punches on him. He tried punching back but I was quick to move away punching him until he found it hard standing up. Living him lying on the floor I walked towards the car where Fatiyyah was consoling Amal who was crying hard.
I almost panicked when Amal got an athsma attack in my car. I thought she was dieing but realization stroke through me when she told me to pass her inhaler. I sighed in relieve when her breathing came back to normal before zoning off again.
After dropping her off, I couldn't help but think of the last hours events and with a smile for once I've done something good for her I parked my car.
On reaching home I met Ayman who helped drop Fatiyyah home for I couldn't go back to get her. He was smirking Oh no I know that smirk. He must be upto something.
"What are you smirking at? Aren't you supposed to be home by now. I think I need to tell Mamah to stop letting you out late" I said smirking then chuckled as I imagined Ayman and I seated on the floor and his mother on the sofa lecturing him on not staying out late and I laughing at him.
"Oh no please don't, I rather get a physics 101 lecture at Uni than Mamah's lectures. That woman would make a great lecturer Wallah" He said making me laugh loud. That's the only way you get Ayman do something he doesn't wants to. He hates and avoids Mamah's lectures like hell.
"Hell I'm not telling her cause at the end I'm gonna get included"
I said already imagining how my ears would start itching because of the boredom of her lectures."It's getting late now I should get going before I go and meet Mamah waiting for me at the parking lot"
"Okay man we'll meet tomorrow then" I said. Ayman drove off while I enter the house with a wide smile plastered on my face.
