Hey guys,
Here comes your update and I'm sorry for the late update.
Ramadan Kareem
Enjoy!!!!
**Amal's POV**
Sighing for the hundredth time today, I turned to Aisha who was seated on her bed. Aisha's wedding fatiha was finalized yesterday. She has been emotional since yesterday, crying her heart out which made me cry too. After the Yinin biki (event on the wedding day were all her relatives and well wishers gathered at her father's house to celebrate her marriage with her), a dinner organised by the bride's family was on point which we all danced ourselves out.
I looked at Aisha who has been crying since morning saying she couldn't believe she's living home and would miss everyone blah...blah.
"Aisha shhhh stop crying, it's not like you're going somewhere far away from home. Your house is just a 10mins drive from home you can come anytime you want" I said trying my best to stop her from crying.
"I can't be free any more. I'm now married I can't prank call males. I can't go on our usual adventure. I can't do those things anymore. I'm now married Amal, I'll be living with a complete stranger now". She said making the tears I've been holding back flow.
I hugged her and we let our tears flow. It just clicked to me that we can't have our usaul sleep overs anymore.
The elders left living only I and some of Aisha's cousins with Fatiyyah, Hanan and Salma. We re-cleaned the house, made Aisha take a shower and I helped her into a new dress before giving her a light touch of make-up.
Third Person's POV
Muhammad with his friends who were all dressed in kaftan got into his house to see his bride but was stopped by her friends.
"Wait you guys can't see the bride yet" Hanan said stopping them.
"And why is that?" Ayman asked smirking.
"Amal!! Fatiyyah!" Salma shouted making the two that were consoling the bride strode downstairs.
"They're asking why they can't see the bride" Hanan told them.
"My sister is not cheap you have to pay before seeing her" Amal said smirking.
"Kai this girls you want to finish our money neh?" Ayman asked.
Amal's eyes landed on her soon to be husband who was using his phone unbothered by his surroundings.
"Hey we are not girls we are women and haven't you ever gone to a wedding before Mr?" Hanan asked smirking.
"Hey you're wasting time how much do you want?" Muhammad asked.
"1 million" Fatiyyah said. The expression on their faces was funny.
"Kai one million fa kikace"( you said 1 mil) Ayman said making Amal laugh.
"Eh our bride is not cheap ai" Fatiyyah said
They did lot of bargaining and finally agreed on three hundred thousand and Aisha's friends brought her downstairs.
After their crying session they finally left with Salim and Ayman taking Amal, Fatiyyah and Hanan home since Hanan's is not far from Amal's.
"Cry baby" Ayman said.
"I'm not a cry baby" Amal defended.
"If you say so" He said.
"So our Amarya's friend what's your name?" He asked.
"Hanan" She answered.
Ayman was about to talk when Amal bit him to it.
"We home" she said and stepped out of the car with Hanan trailing behind but not before hugging Fatiyyah and telling the boys a thank-you.
"We're home home-sweet-home!!" She shouted entering the house after saying her salam.
"Adda Ameenah, Adda Zainab, were are you guys!" She shouted again but none of them answered they went to her room and changed into something comfy before going to the kitchen to make something eatable.
"What do you want us to make?" She asked Hanan.
"Anything" she said.
"Okay" Amal replied before getting to work.
She made chocolate chip cookies, chocolate cake, chicken biryanni and strawberry ice cream enough for every body before topping the ice cream with Oreos.
She set the family dining room before calling everyone for dinner. Amal's father was very happy cause he couldn't remember the last time he ate with all his kids happily.
What a happy family day Amal thought. She was so happy that her eyes started to get teary. Tears of joy but still she was missing her Ammy. She wished her Ammy was with them, it would have been more fun.
"Why are you crying?" Adda Ameenah who was seated besides her asked jolting her back from her trail of thoughts.
"I'm not crying just happy" she said cleaning her tears.
"Ameenah Do you remember Amal's first word" Hamman Mujaheed said.
"Hamman Mujaheed!"Amal whined making them all laugh.
"Yes Big baby" He answered.
"I'm not a baby" She said pouting.
"But you act like one" He mimicked her voice which made her burst into fits of giggles.
She thanked Allah for giving her this amazing moment with her family and wished this happy moment would last forever.
It is priceless.
