Chapter 20 : For Auradon

 Ben, Uma,Jay and Carlos all stood in front of Fairy godmother and the Former King and Queen of Auradon waiting patiently for their reaction to what they were to do about the Isle and the Cleanup of Auradon.

"I'm Sorry, you want to what exactly?" Fairy godmother spoke after a few moments of silence as she stared at the group of friends.

"We need to make sure that nothing like this happens again, it's time for a change..." Ben began as he looked at his parents and Fairy godmother before looking at his friends. Uma placed a hand on Ben's shoulder and cleared her throat, not really sure what to do or say,

"You're greatness's.... uh Majesties?. anyway what Ben's trying to say is, yes the villains have done terrible things but some of them are the reason we are all okay. They helped us and showed that they really do care, just in their own ways" Uma continued keeping her hand on Ben's shoulder and smiling softly. The three adults looked at one another and then back at the four teens standing before them, Belle smiled at her son and his friends;

"You make a good point Ben, we need to know exactly which villains could be redeemed and then begins the long process and also a choice..." She looked at Carlos and Jay who looked at one another curiously not fully understanding what choice they had to make. Bell walked over to the boys and kneeled down in front of them before clearing her throat and sighing, she placed a hand on both of the boys shoulders,

"Anita and Roger and Aladdin and Jasmine really do care about you two, Fairy godmother was going to erase all traces of your memories of your parents... but..."

"You were going to what?!" Jay shouted forgetting where he was for a moment before Belle held her hand up to silence the boy. Jay lowered his head sheepishly as Belle continued,

"Like I was saying, she was going to erase your memories... but given the circumstances of well, everything, we have all decided that you boys need to choose whether or not you wish to live with your parents or be adopted. Mal and Evie both no longer have this choice as they are going to need Aurora and Snow for quite some time, but you boys need to choose." Jay and Carlos looked at each other for a while, their parents did love them.. and they showed it by what they did. Was it too late to forgive and forget, what if things went back to the way they were, and most importantly would they ever see their friends again.

"We uh, need some time to think about that...." Jay said quietly, Carlos stood still his face masked any emotion but you could tell he was hurt.

"So, about the Isle and Auradon? Can we do it?" Ben asked as he glanced at Jay and Carlos and then at his mother. Belle looked at Adam and Fairy godmother and nodded softly before looking back at the group of teens,

"The Queen in me is saying that this is a very big job for such young teenagers as yourselves, it would take alot of strength and bravery. However, as your mother I think you four have shown us that you are brave and so much stronger then we thought originally. So that being said, I am saying yes... help those who need it, rebuild the Isle and help fix Auradon." Belle smiled as she stood up and walked over to Adam, who placed his arm protectively around her. The four teens cheered and thanks the royals before heading to the door,

"Oh, and one more thing..." Adam said as the teens made it to the door about to leave the castle,

"yea dad?"

"We are your family, you need help.. or anything let us know and we will help you." Ben smiled and wrapped his arms around his parents,

"We won't let you down.. we're doing this not only for Auradon and the Isle but for those we lost and almost lost."

"I know you wont son, you make me so proud. Now go save the day... be a hero and most importantly... Be yourself."

Ben, Jay , Carlos and Uma stepped out of the castle after their chat with the royals and stopped on the steps,

"So, where exactly do we start?" Uma said as she looked out at the destruction of Auradon, "This is only a part of the kingdoms, and we don't even know how the Isle is."

"First, we have to gather the "bad" villains... and separate them from the "good" ones..."

Uma crossed her arms over her chest and huffed, "and who are the bad ones?"

"and uh, where are we putting them once we get them? The barrier is broken and we can't let them get to Mal or Evie... or cause anymore destruction.." Carlos finally spoke, but quietly as he was still thinking about everything. Ben hadn't really thought of that, he sat on the top step and let out a sigh, "I don't know guys... my parents are right, this is going to be alot work... and we don't even know where the other villains are." Ben groaned and placed his hands over his face in frustration, Suddenly footsteps were heard coming towards them. Uma Jay and Carlos stood firmly in front of Ben ready for anything, They were surprised to see Cruella, Jafar, and Gothel standing there looking down at the kids.

"well, this is surely not what we expected to see from heroes..." Cruella said with her arms crossed over her chest.

"We're not heroes, hell we don't even know where to begin..." Ben said as he stood up, he was still worried for Mal and heartbroken about Maleficent and he just wanted this to be over. Gothel moved swiftly and placed a hand on Ben's arm gently,

"You kids need to understand, sometimes the battle can be long.. and difficult, you're in Auradon home of the very heroes these Villains despise. Tell me darlings, how many came across with Grimhilde."

"Ten, there was Gaston,Scar, Shere Khan, Madame Medusa,Hades, Dr Facilier,Queen of Hearts, John Ratcliff,Hans and Frollo."

"Mhmm, and tell me... if you were a villain looking for revenge, where would you go first?"

Uma looked at the boys and the villains, "to the place they were wronged..." she said quietly receiving a nod from the three villains in front of them.

"Bingo... and also, Uma... you're mother may have crossed over too... so I would check the waters when you get to that point.." Cruella said. Uma nodded, she didn't want to face her mother nor did she want to be the one who locks her away. But it had to be done and so Uma agreed.

"I know where we can keep the villains..."

"Where?" Jay asked Curiously as he stood close to Jafar.

Uma held up a small necklace shaped like a shell, "This can be used to control people, If I use it to lure the villains perhaps then we could bind them and place them in..."

"The Auradon Dungeons.." Ben said snapping his finger and grinning. "Uma you're a genius!"

The three villains smiled at the teens "go on then, start your journey... and Carlos, Jay... when you have the time.. we would like to speak to you both."

Carlos and Jay nodded before heading down the stairs with their friends, to begin helping Auradon.

"So where shall we start..."

"I think Shere Khan or Scar, we could lure them with cat nip or something..." Uma snickered although the boys didn't quite get her joke.

"Okay, Where would scar be..."

"Pride Rock, where him and Simba had their final battle..." Jay said remembering learning about it in Royal Animals 101. Ben nodded and pulled a pair of keys from his pocket, leading them to the royal limo.

"To Pride Rock..." Ben said as the small group got into the car and he started the ignition, soon they were off to catch a really grumpy lion.
