~Carrie's POV~
"Mom!!" I yelled getting up, to fast, to hug her.
"Hi baby! Harry told me you're sick? Are you feeling okay?" she asked, her motherly instincts kicking in.
"Yeah I'm sick but I'm feeling a bit better now. Harry you can go to work if you want." I said smiling at him.
"Are you sure you're okay?" he questioned. I knodded my head. "Okay I'll be back about eight okay?" he walked over and kissed me on the cheek. Then he hugged my mom and left.
"Oh honey he's cute!" my mom said after he had left.
"He is isn't he." I said smiling at the thought of him.
"You got it bad don't you baby?" she said smiling at me.
"I do mom. I love him so much, but he's dying." I said looking down to my hands.
"What do you mean he's dying? He looks perfectly healthy." she said sitting next to me on the bed.
"He has Retroviral Hypodysplasia. His dad had it and his dad recently passed away from it." I said a tear falling.
"Oh honey it'll be okay." she said pulling me to a hug. "It'll be okay."
~Harry's POV~
Peter had just given me my third shot.
"Only seven more Harry." he said smiling at me.
"Good. I want Carrie to be able to be safe around me. I don't want to have to worry about becoming him in front of her." I said smiling.
"Well Harry I have a date with Hazel tonight so I'm gonna go now." he said walking out of my office.
Harrrrrrry let me out to play.
No goblin. In seven more days you'll be a thing of the past. So get comfortable.
No! You can't do this! I'm keeping you alive Harry! Without me, there is no you!
I'll be just fine without you.
~Peter's POV~
I was going to pick up Hazel. I walked out of Oscorp and to my car. I got in and drove to her house. She came out and she was wearing her Rolling Stones T-shirt lime green skinny jeans and her black Chuck Taylor's. We were going skating for our one month anniversary. It was her idea.
"Hazel are you sure you want to go skating?" I asked her.
"Of course! Skating is the bomb!" she said. So we skated
~Harry's POV~
I was walking down the sidewalk to Carrie's apartment. I was going to check on her. This little orange kitten was sitting on the side of the road.
"Here kitty kitty." I called to it patting my leg. It snapped it's head in my direction. Then stood up and waddled towards me. I bent down and scratched the top of it's head. "You're cute. I bet Carrie would love you." I said picking up the orange fur ball. I continued walking and came across a box. I picked up the box and put the kitten into it. I made it to her apartment and walked up the stairs to her apartment. I knocked on her door and her mom answered.
"Oh hi Harry! What've you got?" she said peaking in the box.
"I found her on the street so I picked her up for Carrie. Do you think she'll like her?" I said looking at her sitting on the couch watching what looked like a home movie.
"She love her." her mom said smiling at me. "Carrie! Harry's here and he brought you something." Carrie turned her head towards the door and her face lit up.
"Harry!" she said getting up and running towards me. Her mom took the box from me and Carrie wrapped her arms around my neck and I wrapped my arms around her torso.
"I missed you." I whispered in her ear. She pulled back and planted her lips to mine.
"I love you." she said when she pulled back.
"I love you too, look at what I got you." I said motioning to her mom who was smiling at us. Carrie walked over to the box and gasped at the sight inside.
"Harry! She's so cute!" she said picking up the little orange thing.
"I found her while walking to your apartment. So I picked her up." I said walking over to her and petting the kittens head.
"What should we name her?" she asked me.
"We?" I questioned.
"Yes we, you found her. You get to help name her." she said smiling at me.
"Okay how about Pumpkin?" I said.
"I like that. Little baby Pumpkin." She said kissing her.
