Hesitantly, I opened the door to my apartment, I wasn't surprised when I saw the chaotic mess my place had become, but with a deep sight I walked in. I set my handbag on the counter of my kitchen before I started to pick up the candles and paper and pictures that where scattered all over the floor. I could had called Stephanie to come over and help me clean up but I didn't want to bother her, after last night I doubt she would want to come even near my apartment building.

Finally I had settled everything back to its original place, I took the candles and placed them back in their box. I went into the kitchen and took a glass of water which I drown in a matter of seconds. I walked back into the living room, my destination was to lay on my sofa and relax, since so far my apartment seems as normal as ever before. I didn't realized how my body laid on top of my tv remote which cause it to turn the tv on. For a second it startled me until I felt the remote. I placed it on the table in front of me before I looked at my TV. Strangely enough they where playing Pinocchio, I decided that I wanted to change the channel but something was off. Whenever I clicked the forward button it showed me the same image, Pinocchio, singing no strings on me, it didn't stop, and then I realized something terrifying, it was the same image, the same song on a loop, there are no strings on me, there are no strings on me, THERE ARE NO STRINGS ON ME!.

I stood up and unplugged the tv, I was panting, I was having a panic attack probably, I cursed quietly, having no idea what just happened in front of me but I'm a stubborn individual, also probably very stupid. "Fine! I don't know who you are or what you want but you can damn well give up now because there's no way in hell that I'll leave my home because some ghost decided to move in... alright?!" My neighbors probably thought I was crazy, not that they weren't suspicious already.

I went on with my day, I called Stephanie and told her everything was ok, and yes I lied to her, but simply because I didn't want to scare her or get her more involved in this, after all I was the one with knowledge on the occult, I knew how to handle this, getting her involved would only get her hurt... or worse.

Even as uneasy as I felt in my own home I felt sweaty and tired, I needed a shower of course. I undressed while my shower got the perfect warm temperature I liked. Once it was finally set I walked in, I closed my eyes and just let the water run over me, it felt nice and warm and exactly what I needed after two days of nothing but stress.

After 40 minutes I finally pulled myself out of the shower, I dried my hair before I dried my body, that's when I heard it, and my entire body froze instantly. My Tv was on again. I got my towel robe on and after overthinking if I should or shouldn't go out I walked out. Every step felt so heavy, I didn't want to see what was definitely my tv back on after I unplugged it. When I finally reached the living room I gasped, it wasn't just my tv on playing the same Pinocchio loop, but there was also what seem to be glitches, they spelled "Hello" for me.

I walked closer to the tv, I don't know why I automatically did what I did but I traced my fingers over the TV screen before I turned it off. I looked around me, I still felt alone and yet I felt as if someone was watching me. "hello" I responded before I sighted. This was simply stressful. I walked to my room, didn't even bother to close the door. I didn't hesitate to dress up but my stubbornness gave me some bravery, I put on something comfortable, some black yoga pants with a lilac tank top. I pulled my hair up on a messy bun and walked to my office, it didn't matter if I was now being hunted by a ghost, it wouldn't stop me from working.
