"Why did you stop me?!" The siren said with bitterness through his teeth, they where in a shadow version of the residence they have just recently made their own. Anti, whom was sitting on the couch the same way a feline would, only laughed at the scene "I Must admit Darky... why DID you stop siren boy over here from just... tearing the girl aPart... you did say we could Play with the girl... did the BIG BAD WOLF change his Mind?!" the glitch questioned. Dark was looking out the window, he heard his companions speaking and yet he didn't even flinch to respond to them, not yet at least. His thoughts were rather back to the day of their arrival.
After some meeting in the Ego office, Dark had decided that he wanted to isolate himself in the office, which would had been easier if he would stop thinking about what happened in his passed life. He grunted, pinching the bridge of his nose. Today was the worst day to see Wilford, everything was just more stressful than usual, his hands were shaking and that uncomfortable ache in his neck was more than annoying. There was a sudden knock on his door which made him grunt even more "What?!" He snapped before Google walked in, closing the door behind him.
Dark didn't even turned to watch him, he remained in from of his mirror, looking straight into it. "What you ask for... I found it..." the droid responded in his usual monotone voice "where?" Asked Dark as he fixed his suit, running his hands over it and smoothing it. "Much closer than what you imagine actually, would you like me to pin the location..." "No" Dark interrupted the droid before he turned to face him "I know exactly what I'm going to do..." he said, closing his eyes and adjusting the twitch in his neck.
He was in desperate need of a new vessel, as for his old one it's been almost 98 years, it was decaying, he needed a new one before his current vessel cracked. He knew the owner of his old vessel had family, he knew it didn't end with them so he wasn't surprised when Google found her, pleased but not surprised. Jennifer was her name, 25, the same age her great great aunt was when he... well... you know.
He needed the perfect plan and he knew he couldn't do it alone, he hated working with others, specifically with Natemare and Anti, and yet he knew how to use his puns, this was almost a chest game for him, one he refused to lose. While Natemare manipulated the atmosphere, with the wind and the smoke, just heightening their fears with his powers, while Anti did the rest, malfunctioning lights, malfunctioning tv. Everything was coming according to plan and Dark couldn't be more pleased with everything.
"For how long will we stay hidden? You promised me that you would help me take over Nathan's channel, that I would have a feast of countless souls to feed upon and here we are, waiting and for what?! We already helped you get this insignificant mortal... so you must pay us... or else..." natemare wasn't afraid of Dark, as a matter of fact neither was Anti and yet that didn't stop Dark from confronting them. "Come on Darky... stop Being such a Cryptic Bitch!... and tell Us..." Anti said while holding a hand behind his back, a dangerous sign when it came to him.
Dark slowly turned around, now that he was facing them they realized he had his eyes closed, he was relaxed it seem, his hands still being held behind his back. Slowly, he opened his eyes, such a bitter look coming from them despite his face being so relaxed. "This... is why I despise working with you two" he said, his hand did a motion where he pointed at the other egos in the room, his voice was low and raspy, more than usual and it's Anti who picks up on that detail. "I have already told the both of you that my plan is complex and that I will NOT have it ruined over your impatience..." he said, looking more at Natemare before he looked at Anti "Or your instability..." his words where bitter, angry even if they sound smoothly calm. Dark straighten his suit, cracking his neck once more. "You..." he looked at Natemare again, his eyes intensely opened with a finger pointed at the shadow siren "if you pull that stupid STUNT ever... again... I will break you apart and you know DAMN well I will so... do NOT... test my patience... ARE WE CLEAR?!" His voiced boomed loudly, making Nate flinch before he rolled his eyes defiantly "Fine..." he responded before he crossed his arms, Anti remain quiet, observing Dark more determinedly, he already knew not to trust anything the iplier ego would sell but this time he was sure he was hiding something, this girl didn't seem as insignificant as he thought, there was more to it, he was sure. Dark went on to stand by the window, seeing as Jennifer had finally arrived home, good, no more time to waste.
