Chapter Seven

After I told mom the good news she said, "OMG we have to go get you a dress!!"

"Okay," I said excitedly too

After we got my dress we went home and it was already 9:00 so I went to my room to finish my homework then I went to sleep. I can't wait for Friday.

School went so slow through the week and Ray and I have started talking a lot and we text each other a lot too. I really like him and I'm really happy when I'm around him.

I sit down and start doing my homework it's only 3:30 so that means I have to wait four and a half hours for our date at eight tonight

I got ready for my date. I put on some black eye liner. some pink eye shadow to match my dress. Foundation, concealer,black mascara and pink blush. I finished off with pink/red lipstick.

My dress is strapless and pink. it has a sweetheart neckline and a maxi skirt (the dress goes past my ankles.)

I looked pretty. I also have some silver closed toe heels

When Ray rung the doorbell, I went to open the door

"Wow," Ray gasped, "you look...Amazing."

"Thank you," I gleamed, "I could say the same for you."

We both blushed. Ray was in a black suit with a red tie... I don't think we're going to the movies.

"Shall we." Ray said guesturing out the door.

"We shall," I laughed

He offered me his hand and I took it. he walked me to his car and opened the car door for me, "what a gentleman," I said.

"Thank you," he laughed, "I try."

I laughed when he said that, I really like Ray.

So we arrived at this restaurant called, Maria's and it looked pretty. Ray got out of the car and walked over to my side. He opened the door for me and helped me out, he offered me his hand again and I took it we walked in the restaurant ad Ray said to the lady at the front desk, "reservations for Mr.Ray Lewis."

Reservations! This guy is the best.

"Ah," she said, "I have them right here, right this way."

She walked us to a table and we sat down, this place was beautiful. We both ordered waters and the chef's special.

When our food came out, it was fettuccini Alfredo, my favorite. It was delicious, I've never had food this good, mmmmmmm. Then we got dessert, it was chocolate cake and it was really good.

"So what do you like to do." Ray asked.

"Well now that I think about It, I'm quite boring." I said

"Nope," he replied

"What?" I questioned

"Nope," he said again,"i don't believe you, you seem very awesome."

I laughed, "I'm really not that popular and all I really do is homework and I work on my songs."

"What, come on Lacey," he said, "you write songs too, I'd like to hear one."

"Maybe someday," I laughed, "when they are actually good."

"You're funny," he said, "I'd really like to hear one though, I know it will be good."

I blushed, "someday," I repeated.
