Chapter 11: What was that

"Wow! That was." I started. "Amazing!" He finished. "Yeah!" I agreed out of breath laying in his bed with him. "Tristan I've got to go home." I admitted. "Why isn't Em going to her dads?" He asked. "Well yeah." I answered honestly. "Then stay?" He asked. I thought about it for several minutes as he started kissing down my neck and arm. "Mmm, okay." I agreed enjoying being touched in those ways again and I lost myself in his touch for the second time that night.
The next morning I woke slightly confused and then remembering where I was. "Good morning beautiful." He said happily. "Mmm, Good morning. I really should get home." I said still partially asleep. "Really?" He asked sounding bummed. "Yeah, I've got a lot to do this weekend." I lied. "Okay well Jamie left about an hour ago to hang out with Em so he won't see you." He answered me knowingly. "Thank you." I answered pulling my clothes on. "Hey Rory?" He asked. "Yeah?" I answered. "I had a really good time, can I call you?" He asked innocently. "Umm, yeah." I answered uncertainly. I left and headed towards Stars Hollow quickly dialing that oh so familiar number. "Hey kid where are you?" She asked answering her phone. "Headed back to Stars Hollow." I answered. "What, you spent the night with Logan?" She asked. "Umm not exactly." I said shyly. "What?" She asked confused. "I spent the night with Tristan." I answered honestly. "Who? Wait as in Tristan Dugray your daughter's boyfriends dad?" She asked disapprovingly. "Umm, yeah." I answered. "Oh wow kid." She said stunned. "Yeah." I said pulling into my driveway. As soon as I got in the house I jumped in the shower and got dressed. When I got out of the shower I noticed my phone blinking.

L: Been thinking about that kiss all night, can we have dinner tonight just me and you?

R: It jumbled me up a bit too yeah dinner sounds good.

What the hell am I gonna do.

"Hey Ace, you look gorgeous." Logan told me as I answered the door. "Thank you not to shabby yourself." I answered trying to relieve the tension. He leaned in and kissed me on my cheek as he took my hand to lead me to the car. "So where are we going?" I asked making conversation. "An Italian place I found just outside of Hartford." He answered kissing my hand and driving down the road. After we got to the restaurant we were seated right away. "Logan, about the kiss." I started. "Ace, I know what you're going to say you don't want to complicate things, but haven't we always complicated things." He laughed easing the tension. "But Logan there is kids involved now." I argued. "And everyone of them loves you." He laughed. "I've got to go to the restroom excuse me for a minute." I say rushing off. "Okay Ace, I'll be here." He laughed.

Logan's pov

Rory seems off tonight I wonder what is going on. I think to myself as her phone rings on the table, I can't help myself but to take a peak.

Tristan: had a great time last night I would love to see you again soon.

What the hell is that she was with some other guy last night after we kissed like that. I felt myself getting angry and saw her headed back to the table. "Okay sorry about that." She laughed. "It's fine maybe we should cut this short." I say feeling hurt and not wanting to get mad at her, she's not mine anymore I need to remember that. "Umm okay, is every thing okay?" She asked sounding slightly confused. "Yeah, just got an early morning tomorrow." I said lying. "Logan tomorrow is Sunday what is really going on?" She asked calling my bluff. "Why didn't you tell me you were seeing someone?" I asked getting mad. "I'm not!" She countered. "Oh yeah who's Tristan then and what was a great time last night." I said pointing to her phone. "You read my messages?" She asked defensively. "Not intentionally it was right there and rang while you were in the bathroom." I said. "Logan, I can see or talk to whoever I want or do you forget you didn't choose me." She said cutting me straight to the bone. I took her home without another word.
