Meeting The Alpha

I wanted to run its all i could think about. I've just ended my last final exam for college and im done. I couldn't wait to get out of here. My eyes wouldn't leave the clock. Three minutes left. I can do this, I've fixed my papers for probably the thousandth time. "Pass all papers to the right side please and I'll come by and pick them up." Mrs.Kane my environmental teacher said as we all started passing our papers to the right. "Once the bell sounds you all may go. Have a great summer all of you." an occasional murmur of 'you too' were heard here and there.

RING!

That was my cue. I head right to my dorm when i leave campus to get my camping things I've packed for the next week. Being suck in a city for to long had nearly killed me. Going up to

Minocqua Wisconsin couldn't be better therapy. The lakes the woods the fresh air and no one to bother me this will be the best week of my life.

The closer we got to the small town the more my wolf wouldn't settle down. An excruciating four hour drive later I pulled up to a gas station to fill up a bit before heading all the way up into the woods. I know I'm close to another pack i just dont know how close or what land they have.

I inherited a cabin from my grandparents before they passed. I rented it out to other people to get a few extra bucks once in awhile from this place but not much comes of it.

I couldn't place my bags in the house fast enough. I placed my cloths in a basket before sneaking outside to shift.

After running for about fifteen minutes i keep feeling like there is something or someone watching me. I should be used to it by now there always bears and other animals up in these woods but this time it was different.

It was eight o'clock when i arrived back at the cabin. We barely had any food here but still some pizzas down in the basement freezer.

My phone was buzzing on the counter by the stove. "Hello?" i answered the call. "So you just gonna ditch me and not come home after collage and run off with out telling me where you are going?" i recognized the voice the second i heard it. Belonging to my best friend of twelve years Isabella scolded me for not coming strait home after collage.

"Listen i just need sometime to let my wolf out and I'll be home." I knew she'd call sooner or later. After talking what felt like forever i headed to bed, as i was laying there staring at the white ceiling i heard the neighboring pack in the distance howling.

Listing to their howls made me home sick even more. But i needed this. Im one of the few females in my pack who haven't found a mate and the moment i get back i know my father is going to be inviting every pack with in a hundred mile radius to meet me and try and find my mate.

Being the alphas daughter also sucked unmates males constantly trying to get to me. I hated it, i stayed true for my future mate though. Never once kissed or even dated a boy.

Sleep soon took over my tired body and i drifted of into a peaceful sleep with wolves howling in the distance.
