Meeting The Alpha

Becoming Luna

It all went by to fast the few days we spent at my old pack house was great but i missed home, Mac's and I's home.

While Mac still wasn't full alpha since his dad hasn't fully stepped down when we get back the grand ceremony will begin. Macs' dad will hand over the title of alpha to his son. And I will get Luna from his mom.

Im nervous about standing in front of the whole pack but its tradition. The good thing is I'll have Mac by my side.

Growing up I've always imagined taking over my home pack. But here i am leaving home and going to a new home with my mate to run a pack with him.

I couldn't believe once we were home we had to start getting ready it would take place in the dinning hall of the pack house. Mac's dad would call him up and have him the the speech and give his word to forever care for the pack. He would then step down and Mac would be full alpha. Then his mom would step up and do the same for me.

I was nervous though I don't do good in big crowds. "We are here." Mac said as we had finally pulled up into his drive way.

i stepped out of the car and waited for Mac to round the car as we took hands and walked towards the house.

It was weird thinking the last time we were here we werent talking and i thought Mac was cheating on me.

"Im so glad you guys are back! Elana we have much to do for you but first ill cook you both lunch." Mac's mom came at us like a tornado in a rage. But no anger shown on her calm face. We both nodded and Mac lead us to the table as he pulled the seat out for me.

"What shall it be?" She asked as she gathered pans and cooking utensils. "Anything is good mom." Mac smiled at her. She smiled a sweet smile back and turned to cook again. "Whats wrong?" Mac asked as i hadn't noticed my head had falled to look at my fingers fiddling on my lap.

"Nothing just scared." I said worry flashed through his eyes. I smiled and soon it left. "Don't be I'll be there every step of the way." He held my hand as he said the words of comfort to me.

My heart fluttered and i couldn't help but smile back.

"Lunch for my two favorite people." Mac's mom said as she placed two grilled cheese sandwiches with ham in front of us. "And Mac's favorite meal as a kid." She smirked. "Hey why am i not one of your favorites?!" Soon Mac's dad found his way to us. "You're on a different list." His wife giggled in his arms. Mac and I looked away before the two mates got to heated for our taste.

Once we had finished we headed to out rooms where our cloths were to be layed out for us to wear.

Once dressed we met in the hall and walked to the dinning hall together.

"Ready?" He asked I nodded afraid to speak.

The pack we spread out in the gigantic room and all heads turned to look our way once the doors opened for us to enter. I gripped onto Mac's hand tighter if it was even possible.

He glanced down at me and smiled with a squeeze back.

Everyone bowed when we passed by Mac just held his head and chest high. He looked so confident and it rolled off him. I did my best to look like him but not all work the best.

We got to a stage type thing where Macs parents stood. They both nodded as Mac and I bowed for them.

"Let's begin!" Mac's father said Mac stepped forward dropping my hand i wanted to badly to reach for it. "Do you Malcolm Chase Greenwood take full responsibility for Greenwood pack to stay loyal to the pack promise to not commit treason. To treat all fairly and see out all wellness of the pack. Make sure they are cared for."

There was a brief pause before Mac answered. "I do." He then placed his right hand to his dad. A red rag was tied to his wrist.

"Your new Alpha!" He raised Macs hand and the crowed roared to cheers. I Looked to Mac's mom and she nodded at me i stepped froward and waited for her command. "Now for our Luna!"

"Do you Elena Nichole Smith take full responsibility for Greenwood pack to stay loyal to the pack promise to not commit treason. To treat all fairly and see out all wellness of the pack. Make sure they are cared for. To step up and do what you can whenever the Alpha may not be able to at the current time. To be the mother of the pack to teach them."

"I do." She took my hand and did the same with the red rag. "Your Luna!" Evefrything was getting Quite and my eyes were going black. I felt my back hit a hard surface and Mac's face over mine shaking me. But then i couldnt see anything.
