Meeting The Alpha

Little Sister

After an hour of trying to get the book to open i collapsed back down in to the chair with a sigh. "I cant do this." I said looking to my father for help. "No you can you're just not trying hard enough." He walked around to me and stood in front of the book and concentrated on the book with his hand hovering above it. Within a minute the book was unlocking the small padlock on the side. What i didn't understand is how old it looked but how could of condition it was in. It wasn't like a normal book brown leather covered it, barbed wire wrapped itself around the torn leather and finally the lock on the side holding the two ends together so you couldn't open it.

"Concentrate more you're to tense you just want to see whats inside, feel it, know it." I took his advice as he closed the book once again. I took the position my father just held and concentrated on the book. "Imagine it opening feel it know it." I repeated the words in my head.

Feel it, Know it. Feel it, Know it. Feel, Know it.

I cant remember how many time i repeated the words in my head but soon i hear the barbed wire coming undone and the lock unclasping itself from the book. I opened my eyes to find the book open but what got me was the pages. Empty! They were all empty! All this 'concentrating' and i get an empty book! I was angry on the inside i knew my dad saw it.

"Empty?" He asked as calmly as if he was asking what the weather was like. How can he be so calm! "How I worked so hard and its empty!" I was angered and confused.

"Calm down i haven't finished explaining what happens with this book. You just opened it. Over time the pages will come to life when you need a certain page it will show its self. Be patient with it." I calmed a little but still come on really?

"You can be done for today but we are going to be practicing every day till you can get it spot on." He said as he picked up the book and looked it away once again. "You can head upstairs now i can finish up here." I started walking up the stair case and turned to my father to ask something "What made you want to tell me." He hung the key back behind the picture frame and turned to me. "I wanted to wait till you were completely mated but it just felt like the right time to tell you and teach you, before you grew  up all the way and left me." He smiled a small smile and started walking to me. "I'm never going to completely leave you father." I engulfed him in a hug

I reading one of my  favorite novels before i left to meet up with Tessa. I was sucked into the story that it was 1:30 when i looked at the clock. I shot up and pulled on my Nikes and headed out. "I'm going to meet a friend. I'll be back later." I told my dad as he was sitting fixing only God knows what now. Hes always fixing something. "Better not be no alpha i know." He said but i could hear the smile in his voice. "Nope a female. Love you dad." I said kissing the top of his head and leaving to meet Tessa on the cliff.

I was a beautiful day out and i loved it. It didn't take long for me to reach the cliff and Tessa was already there. "Hey." I said sitting beside her, "Hey." She smiled back. "So whats up?" I asked The forest was calm and the sun was warm on my skin, resting on my arms behind me and my legs spread in front. I threw my head back letting the sun warm it. "What you doing tomorrow night?" She asked avoiding my question completely. "I'm going out with a friend. Why?" She mimicked my position "I don't know. My packs having a party tomorrow i wanted to see if you'd like to come I'm sure my brother wouldn't mind." It wasn't the coincidence that her pack and Mac's pack was having a party on the same night but just the way she said 'im sure my brother wouldn't mind' like he was running it.

"Can i ask you something." I turned to her. "Yeah sure." she said still facing the sun. "After you tell me if you'll go to the party with me." She continued. "What pack do you belong to?" I asked waiting for her answer. Truth it i didn't even know what Mac's packs name was. "BloodMoon." She answered calmly "Okay two more question." She had turned to face me this time "Whats your brothers position." She had a confused look on her face but i needed to know. "He's Alpha." My hart started racing and I'm pretty sure she could hear it by now. "Why whats going on?" She asked this time.

"Okay one more whats his name." I looked her dead in the eyes. I could tell she almost she didn't want to tell me. "Mac." As soon as the name left her mouth I was shocked. 

"Elena whats going on?" I didn't know weather to smile or what to do.

"Mac is my mate." I looked her back in the eye.
