I woke up peacefully without any brothers jumping on me or alarm clocks beeping in my ear. I sat up to glance at the clock 10:33. I plopped back down on my bed deciding if i wanted to get up yet or not. Slowly making my way to my bathroom i don't dare look into the mirror for I'm afraid of the person staring back. In the mornings she will bite if you look at her the wrong way.

Depending on the day I could be a morning person but not most. Brushing my teeth and combing my hair i pulled it back into a tight ponytail and left to get dressed. Shifting through my bags trying to find clean undergarments and cloths to wear i finally find some.

"Elena are you up yet?" My father yelled from behind my door. "Yeah getting dressed ill be out in a sec." I replied before throwing my cloths on. I checked my phone just from habit and noticed i had two texts and one missed call. The call being from Isabela probably wondering when id be home.

One text was from Tessa asking if we could meet at the cliff at 2:00 today. I answered her back saying id be there waiting. The next text was from and unknown number but i soon figured it out once i read the message.

-Good morning beautiful. I have pack business all day today so i don't think i'll be able to stop by at all, sorry. But my pack it having a party/bonfire tomorrow night if you'd like to come. Just let me know. I'll call you tonight.-

My heart leaped at him calling me beautiful, but my wolf whimpered at the fact of not seeing him today. I haven't been to a bonfire in ages, It could be fun i guess.

-I'd love to go to your party/bonfire. Just let me know the time you'll be here and i'll be ready.- I sent back and left my room to seek out my dad. Finding him in the kitchen reading the paper and drinking his coffee. "Hello." I sang while walking to the cabinet to grab some cereal. "Someone slept good." He smiled glancing at me.

"I did actually." Pouring my milk into the bowl my lucky charms now sat in. 'I see his jacket helped a bit." I stiffened at his comment i didn't know weather to take it bad or good. "Um yeah it helped a lot calmed my wolf." I said taking a seat across from him. He let a small laugh out and shook his head. "I remember when you used to run around wearing my boots and jacket." He said stirring off into space reminiscing  on the old memory.

"Gosh that seemed like yesterday." He said looking to me "You grew up to fast Elena." I just smiled not knowing what to say back. After finishing my breakfast i noticed my brother and mom were not prestent in the house. " Where is mom and Nicholas?" I asked putting my dish in the sink. "In town shopping." He simply replied. I nodded and went back to my seat.

"Like i said last night i want to show you something. Come with me." I followed him as he got up from the table out over to the medium sized living room area of the cabin. He bent down and lifted the rug. Only to reveal a door. He opened it but with a tug. Behind the door revealed a stone stair case that i never knew we had i never knew we had the door under the rug either.

He proceeded down the stairs and I on his flank. It was nice down here which surprised me. It was all stone with a desk in the far corner with papers littered on it. Medal cabinets lined the walls, I wonder what was in them. I thought to myself. On the other side of the room basement type area we have entered was file cabinets. Be hind the desk there hung a picture of a black wolf and a brown she-wolf beside him. The male held his head high with pride and confidence, while the female to held her head high next to the male but love and care filled her eyes. You could tell from the way the stood together they were mates. I smiled at the picture, till my dad swung it open? I looked at him confused but cause he held his back to me he couldn't see my face.

behind the picture there was rows of key and lots of them i guessed they were to all the cabinets. My dad picked a set and closed the picture. He walked back over to one of the metal cabinets and opened it with one key. inside that cabinet was a safe. He did the combination and opened the safe. Pulling out what looked like a book.

"Come and sit." He pointed to a car that was placed before the desk my father sat behind it placing the book on top of the papers. "Elena you have to listen very carefully this is very important." He said seriousness taking over his face. I nodded in agreement so he could proceeded with what ever he was gonna say. "This room hold important documents, things passed on from generation to generation. Many things in here are valuable and can never be replaced and is why they have been place in my care. This book being one of them. It can show you anything you wish. You have to gain it trust if i have to put it that way. It will only work for some people. I will teach you to respect the book Elena. What it holds in it, you wouldn't ever believe. From cures to curses. Bloodlines to the very first werewolf. You must promise to keep it a secret. and keep it safe and hidden. If it gets in the wrong hands things could get ugly and fast."

I was speechless after i didn't know what to say. "Yes, I promise."
