Ushijima's alarm was going off but oddly enough he wakes up a minute before the alarm even goes off.

He hadn't seen you in a week other than class, but even then the two of you did not say a word.

The deal was, that the two of you would not speak or look at each other or else (your enemy) would leak the tape.

Ushijima still had not gotten up. He was just staring at the ceiling of his dorm room as his mind wandered into space.

He was thinking about the big tournament coming up, but also the fact that he wouldn't be able to see you cheer him on.

Tendo and Semi had been joking lately at practice that Ushijima's been love sick and it's been showing in his spikes.

Ushijima was angry. He never likes to be told what to do, but with (your enemy) blackmailing the both of you, you both had no choice but to to abide to her rules.

(Your enemy) constantly has tried to get with Ushijima, but he always refuses. When the two of them stand behind the gym it's just (your enemy) trying to get the D. But Ushijima only gives that up to one person only....

His stoic personality is very apparent when he's with her, not even flicker of excitement comes from his junk when she's around.

Still this was a very awkward situation he thought. For one thing he had never been involved with a girl and he never once thought he could catch feelings for something other than volleyball.

Maybe he really was lovesick Ushijima thought.

But love was a strong a word. Ushijima knew what it was but didn't necessarily know how to show it.

But then (your name) popped back in his head.

You drove him crazy. Those little comments about his biceps or how you would call him ushi-daddy under your breath as he pretended not to hear was something he was not used to.

But boy did he secretly enjoy it. He found you particularly funny. You were so unconventional from the other girls at school.

All that thinking caused Ushijima to miss talking to you more. He desperately wanted to talk to you before school started. However he knew he couldn't call nor text you. He had no way of contacting you without (your enemy) finding out.

In that regard he thought he was stuck but then it dawned on him. (Your enemy) couldn't do anything if he went on a run and just so happened to see you.

The volleyball team sometimes on the occasion have morning runs before school starts, so this wouldn't be anything out of the ordinary.

Housing was rather expensive and since you lived relatively close to the academy you opted not to live in the dorms.

Which was perfect for Ushijima as (your enemy) wouldn't be able to locate you or him on campus.

With a small smirk Ushijima put on his running shoes and quickly took off towards your house, where he would coincidentally "bump" into your beautiful face.
