Weiss and I made our way towards a gas station and noticed a structure not very far from our home.

Weiss: "A Red Rocket? Hey is that a dog?" I look at the direction she was pointing at and I see a lone dog that looks as if it is scavenging around.

"Should we go see.... And your gone." I see Weiss already petting the dog. If only she could be this fast in getting used to the large bugs in this world. I made my way towards the two.

Weiss: "Hey F/N look at this cute guy....ow." I flicked her forehead. "What was that for?"

"Weiss we went against giant bugs. Giant Bugs. Here is a lone dog and you decided to pet it. What if it was rabid and attacked you." Weiss was looking a bit saddened at my argument.

Weiss: "Sorry F/N."

"*Sigh* Well lucky for you he wasn't rabid." I crouch down and begin petting the dog. She began smiling again.

Weiss: "So what should we do with him?" I thought about making a morbid joke but I'm pretty sure I'd be the only one to find it funny.

"Don't know. Hey boy you want to come with us?" The dog begins to bark happily. "That answers that we'll take him with us."

Weiss: "Great now I have another cutie to accompany me."

"Wait another?"

Weiss: "You heard that?"

"Yes"

Weiss: "Oh about that..... Do you hear something?" I try to listen and notice that there was the sound of burrowing around us.

"Stay close." The burrowing continues till a cat sized mole rat appears. "Seriously? More giant animals."

Weiss: "What's next giant fucking lizards." She readies her rapier and was ready to fight with me, but our new friend beat us to it. The dog kills the rat by biting it's next.

"Not bad." The burrowing sound continues and I see more pop out of the ground. "Round two it is." I begin firing at the rats that were far away making sure not to hit our dog. When a rat got to close Weiss stabbed it using her rapier. "Your fencing skills are incredible."

Weiss: "Thanks." It took a while but we dealt with the last of the mole rats. "Finally I thought they never would have stopped." Weiss looked annoyed. "We should look around something useful might be here." We looked around for a bit and found not much useful items. We continued our way towards concord till we say a dead cow with large mosquitoes feasting on it.

Weiss: "Great more giant bugs." She looked slightly white.

"I got it." I aimed and fire four shots and the mosquitoes fell before they had time to react. "I draw the line at mosquitoes." I shutter at the thought of those things on me. We close in on the cow and noticed it had two heads.

Weiss: "Radiation is quite fascinating isn't it?" (The cow doesn't have a gaping hole in its abdomen like in the game. The mosquitoes just drank it's blood.)

"Yup." We just stared at the two headed creature for what felt like an eternity. Our dog was tugging on my sleeve which snapped me out of it. "Right Concord come on Weiss."

Weiss: "Oh sure." We made our way down the street and hear gun fire. "So much for being beaten with sticks."

"Hey at least people are still around."

Weiss: "That might not be a good thing." She was right about that. We made our way towards the sound, once we found the source we ducked behind cover. We see some people wearing metal around them shooting at someone on a balcony who was firing some energy weapon at them. "Any ideas?"

"Same as the mole rats. You take care of anyone close and I deal with the ranged people. Stay hidden so they don't shoot at you."

Weiss: "Ok be careful." I get out of cover and shoot two shots I hit one on the head killing him and another on the arm alerting him of me.

"Can't get 'em all right." I duck behind our cover again and I hear gun fire hitting us. "Shit." I roll out of cover and fire three shots. One more dead on injured on the ground and I missed the last shot. A bullet flies by my head and I moved to the side of a building. "That was close." I made my way back to Weiss and got shot in the arm. "Fuck!!"

Weiss: "Are you okay?!" She inched closer to me looking over my wound.

"Weiss behind you!!" A man came from behind and almost stabbed her until our dog bit his arm that held the blade and got his attention.

Bandit: "Damn mutt!" He then pinched our dog and he whimpered and released him. Weiss took this time to stab him in the arm. "Aaahhh you bitch!!" He smacked her in the face and she fell to the ground. He was moving in to kill her but i shot him five times, mostly out of rage that he touched her. Using my rage I get out of cover and begin firing killing more of these bastards. However someone blindsided me and has me pinned to the ground. He had a pipe on my neck trying to choke me. I used whatever strength I could to keep the pipe from crushing my neck. The dog the bites the man in the arm and distracted him enough for Weiss to stab his neck. He was making gurgling noise from the rapier in his neck as I pushed him off. I noticed the last of these attackers are dead and I look at Weiss and see her in utter shock.

Weiss: "Oh sh-shit." She placed her hands on her face, she looked pale. I quickly hug her to keep her from seeing the scene. I felt slightly sick myself but my will to protect Weiss was stronger.

"Don't look." I let her go and she turns away. I pull the rapier out and wipe the blood off. The dog moves close to her and rubs his head on her leg. (Taking a life can cause shock. The reason why you aren't affected much is your will to protect Weiss is keeping you from suffering that.)

She petted him and crouched down hugging the dog.

Weiss: "Let's go see if the man is okay." We made our way over the bodies and see a man in a old uniform waving at us.

???: "Hey we could use your help. There are some people here and the raiders are almost through the door!!! Grab that laser musket and please help!!!!"

Weiss: "Come on we can't leave them."

"You sure your okay."

Weiss: "People are in danger we have to help."

"Okay let's go." I'll follow any path you take Weiss. We enter the building to help save these people from whatever fate will befall on them if we don't.
