Back with Shrek and the gang, Puss had been leading the gang to the Fairy Godmother's office while telling jokes to Shrek, leaving Donkey out who stormed behind them jealous. The gang soon stopped in their tracks, finding the Fairy Godmother's office clear in site. Which was more like a giant factory or power-plant.
"This must be the place" Teeders said.
"Oh no, that's the old Keebler's place!" Donkey told the gang in slight alarm. "Let's just back away slowly".
"That's the Fairy Godmother's cottage" Puss stated. "She's the largest producer of hexes and potions in the whole kingdom".
"Wow" The gang was amazed.
"Then why don't we pop in there for a spell?" Shrek joked, which only made Puss laugh out loud and no one else.
Except when Brock randomly joined in laughing before suddenly stopping and saying "I don't get it". Just like the last time, on the gang's first adventure with Shrek when they arrived at Lord Farquaad's castle in Duloc.
The gang entered the cottage to find an elf receptionist working at the front desk.
"Hello, we're here to see-" Kali was about to say before the elf interrupted.
"The Fairy Godmother. I'm sorry, she is not in" the elf replied.
"Jerome! Coffee and a Monte Cristo, now!" The Fairy Godmother's voice was heard on an intercom.
"Yes Fairy Godmother, right away" The elf sighed before telling the gang. "Look she's not seeing any clients today, OK?"
"But-" Ann started, before Shrek interrupted.
"That's OK buddy. We're from the Union" Shrek told the elf.
"The Union?" the elf asked, not believing them.
"Oh yeah" Kali added in, seeing what Shrek was trying to do.
"We represent the workers in all magical industries" Kali lied suavely while sounding professional, before the tomboy gave a wink to the gang for their plan to get in.
"Both evil and benign" Rocky even added, now making the elf seem interested while the rest of the gang nodded.
"Tell me, are you feeling at all degraded or oppressed?" Cynthia asked the elf, sounding like one of those business type of people.
"Uh... a little" the elf admitted, turning away the intercom so he wouldn't be heard by Fairy Godmother. "We don't even have dental".
"They don't even have dental" David told the others, pretending to sound surprised like this was business talk.
"Okay, we're just gonna have a look around" Shrek told the elf, while trying to look and sound professional. "By the way, I think it'd be better if the Fairy Godmother didn't know we were here. Know what i'm saying? Huh?"
"Huh? Huh? Huh!" Donkey and Nobby overdid it a little, giving the elf the eye stare.
"Stop it" Kali and Ginger both told them, dragging them along.
"Of course. Go right in" the elf whispered to them.
The gang then entered the factory, to see all kinds of things. There were animals in cages, and workers testing out many different potions, etc.
"Looks more like an evil witch convention if you ask me" Ginger commented.
"You and me both, Doll-face" Rocky agreed with his mate.
The gang then saw some flashing light and heard Fairy Godmother's voice coming from another room. They entered to find Fairy Godmother brewing something up in her giant cauldron, looking rather sinister while doing it. The teens had been growing more suspicious of Fairy Godmother, knowing that a real fairy-godmother wouldn't have a cauldron or use any kind of potion to help with her magic, etc.
