Chad's POV
9:12 PM; Chad's room at Valley Hill
After Chad had hung up on Arielle he lay awake in bed frustrated, angry, and dejected. He was frustrated with himself for hanging up on Arielle and possibly ruining their relationship. He was angry at Arielle for so easily replacing him while he had been missing her. He decided he did not like this Andrew kid even though he did nothing intentionally. Chad pictured Arielle in her boxers, loose t-shirt, glasses, and hair in a clip biting her bottom lip focusing on the game. Arielle hated losing. Chad knew because he used to be the one losing to her at the game, but now it was Andrew.
Chad did not know at the time that he was jealous, but would realize it eventually.

Arielle's POV
9:12 PM; Arielle's room at her Mom's House
Arielle had tears flowing down her face. Her head was in between her knees which were pulled to her chest. She kept replaying what Chad had just said to her.
"Nothing. Everything's great. It's almost like you never left."
Arielle couldn't comprehend why Chad had said something so cruel to her. She had been missing him so much that she never forgot call him everyday, but now she wasn't so sure what to do. She didn't even have the chance to tell Chad that she was coming back in the morning. While she had been crying, Andrew sat down next to her and wrapped his arms around her. This action reminded her so much of Chad that she just started crying even more.

9:20 PM Chad's room
Chad decided he would call Arielle to apologize for saying cruel things to her. He came to the conclusion that maybe Arielle was just hanging out with Andrew to fill the time like he had been doing. Before making a decision, Chad had called Daysi for some advice. She was his best friend AND a close friend of Arielle's so maybe she could help. ring...ring...ring
"Hi best friend!!! What's wrong? You never call unless it's important."
"I just had an argument with Arielle."
"Okay. Hang on. I'm going to put you on speaker so Eli can help too." Eli was Daysi's roommate at Citrus View. Chad remembered Eli from middle school because he would always go to "war" with her. It didn't surprise him that Eli was Daysi's roommate. They had been best friends since 7th grade. Even though Chad was Daysi's actual best friend.
"Hi Chad. It's Eli. Spill your guts out." Chad heard Eli say ow. Daysi probably hit her.
"Okay well I was on the phone with Arielle and she was playing video games with some Andrew guy and she sounded like she was having fun. All of a sudden I got mad, told her I didn't miss her, and hung up."
He was ready for Daysi's advice when Eli said, " Wooowwww talk about douchebag."
Chad was about to defend himself when Daysi said, "Yes, you did do a douchebag move, so don't even deny it. Did she tell you if the Andrew went to our middle school?"
"Yes she did say that. Why?"
"I know who she's talking about. She was good friends with him. He had classes with her, and their moms were good friends. No wonder she's with him."
"Oh. Why didn't she tell me?"
It was Eli that replied. "Because you got jealous before she had the chance. MODDED!!!!!"
"I have to agree with Eli. You got jealous before Arielle could explain. I think you should call her and apologize. You probably hurt her. She cares about you a lot."
"Okay but when do I call? Tomorrow?"
Eli took the phone and said, "NO!!! Don't be a wimp. Call her NOW!!! I'm gonna hang up now. Day and I have marching band camp in the morning. Byeee Chad."
Chad heard in the background "Wait Eli!! Don't hang up. I still need to say bye."
Daysi snatched the phone away and managed to say, "BYE BEST FRIEND. LOVE YOU AND CALL ARIELLE!" Before Eli took the phone and hung up.
Chad smiled at the conversation. He missed Daysi, Eli, and all his other friends at Citrus View. He could easily picture Daysi smiling happily calling him her best friend, Eli taking the phone from Daysi, and Eli saying modded with a whole bunch of hand gestures.
He gathered up all the courage he could muster and dialed the one name that made his day but could easily ruin it.
He started to worry she wasn't going to pick up.

Arielle's room
9:30 PM
She had finally stopped sobbing. Arielle was just about to turn off her phone and go to bed. Her phone lit up and a picture of her and Chad on the East Coast Tour appeared on the screen. She was scared to pick it up. She was going to let it go to voicemail. But she needed answeres.
"Hello?" Arielle sniffled and wiped away some tears.
"Thank God! You picked up! I thought you hated me. Wait a second have you been crying?"
"Yes I have been crying because of you. You annoying, idiotic, douchebag." Arielle felt better after saying that and sighed. "I could never hate you."
"I know I'm stupid. I didn't mean it what I said earlier. I just..."
Arielle knew it was hard for Chad to express his feelings, but she knew she could change that. "Chad what's wrong? Was it something I said?"
"I......I felt jealous okay? I have been missing you like crazy. Cam told me to leave her and Carlos some space. So lately I've been playing football and watching Sherlock. I look foward to talking to you and what do I hear? You having fun with some Andrew guy. It felt like you replaced me."
Chad didn't usually express all his feelings. Arielle knew she really hurt him. "I'm sorry. I didn't think that I was replacing you. I've just been bored and I hadn't seen Andrew since eighth grade. We were catching up. I'll talk to Cam when I come back. Just don't take it too hard. You know how she is." Arielle giggled thinking about her roommate.
"So when are you gonna come back?"
Arielle giggled. " I would've told you earlier before you got all jealous.... I'm coming back tomorrow!!!!"
Chad sighed, relieved Arielle was coming back. "That's amazing news! What time should I meet you there?"
"10 am. I'll be there then."
"Okay. Cool. See you then. I'm gonna head to bed. Nighty night."
"Nite nite. Sweet dreams." Chad hung up. Arielle looked out her window and whispered
I love you.
