Can't take it anymore

Ever since the death of Mitchell, Jane was never her self again. She lost her sanity, and was confined to a psychiatric hospital, Kate had to be strong for her brother, especially now that they had practically lost both parents.

Jane has been having several illusions, seeing her husband covered in blood with really dark scary
eyes, looking really horror, blaming her for his death. Which apparently enhanced her insanity.

Jane having another illusion in the hospital.

"you killed me" she heard a deep voice from nowhere. She trailed her eye desperately round the room she was locked in, totally in terror.
"you killed me" she heard again, this time coming from her left hand side. She turned and saw her husband covered in blood as always, sitting really close to her looking deeply into her eyes. She screamed in fear and ran quickly to another edge of the room, where she could no longer see him clearly. It felt like the whole world was rotating, her view of her husband was really blurred. Then later he disappeared.

Jane has been suffering like this for three months ever since Mitchell's death. Kate couldn't feel the presence of her mother any more because she was always in the hospital, and each time Kate and Eric visited their mother hoping to meet her calm, they never gets lucky, it's as if their presence triggers her insanity and then they will come back home in tears. Jane probably remembers her dead husband when she sees her children

Jane did not only have her mental illness to deal with, she was now suffering from severe heart attack due to the shock she experience anytime she had an illusion. She was now transferred to another hospital. Kate was notified by the psychiatric hospital of her mother's sudden transfer due to the heart attack she experienced.

Kate went to see her mother in the hospital.

Waiting anxiously in the waiting room, then finally the doctor came out. "doctor how is my mother" Kate asked, standing up from her sit. "from our diagnosis, we discovered that the patient has been through severe shock recently, which has increased her blood pressure intensively. Which also brought about several side effects like the mental disorder that she's suffering from and also the heart attack" the doctor explained. Kate dropped slowly back to her chair with her hands covering her mouth, and tears trailing down her face. "doctor what do we do now" Kate asked in tears. "well to initiate the necessary operations, we'll need a sum of 2 million dollars" the doctor stated. "am sorry" the doctor added, and left.

Kate knew she needed to act fast. "I need to find a way to get that money..i can't lose my mother too.. I just can't" she cried silently. "or maybe i should accept Mrs Sharon's offer" she thought to herself. "no, no..no..no there has to be another way out" she concluded.

Few days has passed and  Kate is seeing only one option left.

"I have no other choice, I will have to do it...i won't let my mother die as well" Kate talked loudly to herself.

Kate finally summons courage after few days of thinking in frustration, and decided to accept Mrs Sharon's offer.

"I knew you were going to come back...that's how they all do, at first they reject my offer and then later they come begging for it" Mrs Sharon said in her deep voice as always. "I'm willing to do it now ma'am, but first I need this money to save my mother's life" Kate said. "your mother...oh now it's your mother no longer your father, I guess he's probably dead and you don't want the same for your mother?" Mrs Sharon asked, "well...yes" Kate answered sluggishly. "so ma'am I hope you understand me" Kate added. "yes, I understand that you are desperate" Mrs Sharon replied. "well I'm going to give you the money, but be aware that you are going to work back that money and 30 percent interest for as long as it requires...i hope you understand" Mrs Sharon stated clearly. "yes ma'am" Kate replied suddenly realizing what she was going to sacrifice but she just has to do it for her mother.

Mrs Sharon gave her the money and she immediately paid for her mother's treatment and miraculously after several operations carried out on Jane, she came out of it safely, gaining back her sanity and in good health but although still very weak, recuperating in the hospital.

Kate never told anybody where and how she was able to get the money, and her mother is not even well enough to reason all that now. All that mattered was that her mother was now okay.

Part of Kate was happy about her mother and the the other part is in fear, because....
  IT WAS TIME TO PAY HER DEBT.
