Kitsune is the Japanese word for Fox. kitsune are very intelligent beings and possess paranormal abilities that increase with their age and wisdom. They all posess the ability to shape shift into human form. Sometimes they use this ability to trick others and others use this ability to be faithful guardians to mortals. The more tails a kitsune has (they may have as many as nine) the older, wiser, and more powerful they are.
