Gayeon couldn't sleep well that night. Jaehyun's words echoed through her mind every moment. Taking care of a baby secretly was not such a simple and easy thing to do. She tried to get rid of these thoughts, but grieved instead. Giving up on trying to sleep, clearly because it was a lost battle, Gayeon considered taking the time of insomnia to prepare better. Even though it felt a bit silly, she looked for several sites that taught how to properly take care of a child, especially a baby. All that she considered important; she wrote down in her notepad to comment with Jaehyun later.

She then wondered how he was doing that night, everything happened so fast and sudden; Gayeon always considered feeling sorry for someone as a negative feeling, she wouldn't want anyone to pity her, but deep down Gayeon knew that, for Jaehyun, things were not going in a friendly way. Although she was a kid back then, and little she understood what it's like to be an adult or relationships at that time of their childhood, she always felt Jaehyun's sadness. Even if he didn't speak, Gayeon listened stories and gossips in the neighborhood about his family when she would play in the park with other kids or near the park.

Maybe he hadn't had a happy childhood as it looked, but he had always been her great admiration for being brave, gentle, dreamy... Over the time they were distancing themselves, his bright and hopeful eyes from before, became cold and needy for freedom. However, it was just rumoring of envious and uneducated neighbors, how could she believe 100% in everything that was said, she was only ten years back then.

When Gayeon least expected, she could see the sunbeams taking over the bedroom. It seemed like a nightmare, but the night ended much faster than imagined. Out of sheer laziness, she kept herself thrown in the blankets still thinking of Bogum and Jaehyun. When finally dared to get up, the doorbell rang awakening her with a fright.

"Geez..." she checked the time on her phone just to make sure she hadn't spent too much time on the bed "It's 6:15 in the morning... Who is it?"

With a brief shake in her hair, she stood up against the window and opened it timidly trying to see who it might be. Before Gayeon could think straight, the doorbell had been violently touched several times, and for her surprise, by Jaehyun.

"Calm down! What is it, something happened to Bogum?!" she was desperate to think of the worst case after opening the window and fixing her worried gaze on the boy below, who carried the baby in his arms in a hurry.

"Open up! I urgently need your help!" he looked impatient and wearing what would probably be his pajamas.

Still in her pajamas and almost disheveled, Gayeon went down the stairs as fast as she could. Unlocking the door, Jaehyun barely gave space and time, only quickly seeped into the house walking into the living room as if hiding from something or someone.

"Yes, Jaehyun, of course you can come in, make yourself comfortable." mocked, locking the door again.

"I need a favor. We don't have time" with that, he just left the yellow bag that belonged to Bogum on the coffee table in front of the couch and was soon handing her the baby.

"Alright there, easy! Can you explain what's happening please?" more and more Jaehyun was surpassing the limits, but what would it be this time.

"Johnny decided to call me and tell that everyone is going to spend the day in."

"So you want me to take care of the child?"

"You're very clever, thank God you understood quickly. So that's it, thanks, I'll pick him up later."

"Oh no, don't you dare think I'm going to be alone taking care of a child. I never said I would babysit" she wanted to punch him, how come he wanted someone who didn't even know how to take care of herself to take care of a kid "I can't do that alone! What if something happens?!"
