"What do you mean your string is torn apart? That's impossible!", Jimin spoke and bit down on his sandwich.
Jungkook shrugged and stole a french fry from Yoongi's plate, for which he received a slap on the back of his neck.
"I wonder what happened.", Jimin leaned his head on Yoongi's shoulder and closed his eyes.
"I don't know. But I hope my soulmate is okay. Now we have a month to fix it. If it doesn't get 3 loops somehow I have to meet the council and my mate to detach our strings.", Jungkook scrunched his nose at the image in his head.
"It's painful.", Yoongi mumbled."A friend of mine was with a schizophrenic woman. She constantly switched personalities and he got tired of it. So they went to the council and got their strings removed."
"But how do they...?", Jungkook started, eager to know what is probably expecting him in the near future.
"They burn it. And your soulmate is right next to you. As soon as it's not on your arm, you feel nothing towards the other person. They turn into a complete stranger.", Yoongi said as it was nothing.
Jungkook swallowed his last bite really hard but nodded."I hope we fix this within a month."
"When are you meeting your soulmate?"
"Tomorrow."
"Good luck.", Jimin patted Jungkook's shoulder and left."Yeah I'll need it."
8 pm
"Welcome back honey", Jungkook's mother eyed him with concern."How was school?"
"It was okay.", Jungkook couldn't help but stare at his string. It was thin, a pretty blue color, because he hadn't bonded with his soulmate yet. Before there were 3 loops of the string around Jungkook's arm(from his wrist almost to his elbow), but the last loop was missing now.
"Don't worry.", Mrs Jeon kissed his forehead."I'm sure tomorrow you'll understand what happened."
"I hope my soulmate is okay.", Jungkook touched the soft string with sad eyes.
He really hoped that the other person was okay.
