"You did what to Jackson?!"
"Scottie here went wolfie on him in the locker room."
"Scott! You can't just do that!"
"What was I supposed to do?! I needed someone to take care of her on the dance."
"Right cause you can't go."
"Right."
"Don't worry, we're still going." Stiles says
"It doesn't matter. I'm still going."
"Is that a good idea? Do you have a date?"
"Not yet."
"Do you have a suit?"
"Not yet."
"To you have a ticket to the formal? A ride there?"
"No. And no."
"So you're gonna ride your bike to a dance you're not even allowed to go to, without a date, a suit or a way in with werewolves and werewolfhunters who all want to kick your werewolfass."
"Yeah. Are you gonna help me?" Stiles and I look over to each other
"Hell yeah." We say in sync.

I pulled Stiles with me to the shopping mall, normally I would buy my dress somewhere more private, but Allison gave me a call asking me to meet her in the mall with Stiles. I had no idea why, but when she explained it to me, I couldn't agree more. I guess Stiles is going to the dance with Lydia. I drop Stiles telling him I need to go to the bathroom and on my way there I see Allison and I smile at her. She never had a better idea. When I came back Stiles attacked me in a hug
"Guess who I'm taking to the dance?!" He sounded as a little kid on Christmas
"I don't know. Surprise me, Stiles."
"Lydia!"
"Oh my God! That's amazing."
"But I have to go help her pick her dress."
"What are you waiting for then? Go help her! I'll be with Allison."
"How did you know she's here?"
"uhm, Lydia and Allison are almost always together. Lucky guess." Stiles shrugged and walked over to Lydia while I walked to Allison
"Mission accomplished. " We say in unison and we give each other a high-five. We split up and look for some dresses when a smell got by my nose.
"Oh, no. Allison." I search the shop and see her standing in front of a mirror holding a dress in front of her. She turns around and I follow her gaze. Peter. He's walking towards her. Oh no. Not on my watch!
"That's not your color. Sorry for the intrusion, but considering your skin tone, I'd go lighter."
"Cause I'm pale."
"Fair. I'd wouldn't call a skin so perfect pale. Trust me. I have a certain perspective on the subject." Peter takes a dress from the hook and take her hand against it
"Do you mind?" He looks back up to her
"See? Much better." Allison is wobbling on her feet uncomfortable. I walk closer in
"You're not here alone are you? Shopping for dresses with friends? High school dance."
"Formal." I say when I'm finally close enough. The intercom goes off
"Oh, shit. I think that's my car. Come on Allison." I pull her away from Peter and when I walked through the shop I smelled Scott. I should have known he was here.
"That was creepy."
"Yeah, tell me about it. Thanks for helping me out."
"Any time. That's why you don't go somewhere alone."
"Yeah, now I remember."
"Yeah, me too. That's something that's easy to forget." We walk through the mall and buy our dresses. We meet Lydia and Stiles and we go our separated ways.

I drive home to get ready for the dance. I drive on my driveway and park my car. I take my dress inside and lay it ready on my bed together with my shoes, jewelry and everything I was gonna need tonight. I let the water of my bath run and my bell goes. I walk downstairs and open the door.
"Haha. Real funny. Ugh, I hate those stupid children." I get a weird vibe through me. This can't mean much good. I shake it off and walk back upstairs. I get in bath and do my bath-business. I get out and get dressed. I step towards my make-up table when my phone goes of. I quickly grab it
"Hello?"
'Hi, I have a question.'
"Sure, but make it a quick one. I still have to get ready."
'You set me up with Lydia, didn't you?'
"Yeah, sorry, but you should have seen your face. You were so happy and it's not like I forced her."
'So you didn't compel her?'
"No, Stiles. It was her own choice. She could have said no, but she didn't."
'Oh, OK. Never mind then. Thanks.'
"Feel better now?"
'Yeah, much,thanks.'
"You're welcome."
'Who is you taking?'
"Uhm..."
'You don't have a date?!'
"Not really, but I don't mind. I'm going for protection."
'Protection? Like at the hospital?'
"What do you mean with that?!"
'That you froze when you were this close to the Alpha. There's a enormous chance he's gonna be there.'
"I know. And I'm ready. I would rather do what's needed than let anyone else die."
'Please be right. I don't think we can do this without you.'
"I'll be fine. I'm gonna get myself ready. See you at school." I lay down my phone and I think my phone cover has to be changed into something more formal. I take another cover out the closet and get it on my phone. I go back upstairs and do my hair and make-up until I think it's perfect. I grab my bag and put my phone in it together with everything else that can come and handy tonight. I walk downstairs and right before I open the door I get that weird chill again, but it's too late, I already opened the door.
"I heard you don't have a date for tonight, Cassandra."
