"They believe I'm holding this to celebrate our reunion. But in truth, I've gathered them together to perform a ritual. The first step requires blood from a doppelganger.Only a drop. Its essence will be in the champagne toast later on this evening. You can't drink the champagne, Cassandra." I nod. Mother takes a needle and looks at Elena
"Will you do it? Or shall I?" Elena takes of her glove and hands her hand to mother. Mother pricks her finger and lets the drop of blood fall into the glass
"Elijah is more suspicious than the others, so he may need more persuasion, but they must all drink at the toast in order to be linked as one."
"What do you mean 'linked as one'?" I asked
"You said yourself Klaus can't be killed, but tonight's spell links them together so that if one goes, they all go"
"What?"
"Like I said. I love all of my children, but like I said. They're an abomination. It's my duty to kill them, but I only can with your help, Cassandra."
"Depends on what you want me to do."
"I'll explain it to you. Elena, you can go back to the party. Make sure they all drink, even Elijah."
"Elijah too?" I ask when Elena leaves the room
"Yes, even he killed a human." I sighed
"I'm sorry I need to let you do this, Cassandra. They never did something wrong to you. I'd rather have you at a safe distance."
"I'm sorry, I thought after all these years it would be safe for me to come back. I didn't think my mother, who I thought was dead, would ask me to help her kill my family. I think you would leave me alone after you finished your duty, which would leave me completely alone. Not that I'm used to anything else."
"I'm so so sorry. I can't say it enough, but I think my spell will work best when I have you by my side."
"I understand. What are we going to do?"
"First we go back to the party. Remember, do not drink from the champagne."
"I won't." I left the room and I walked down the stairs. I saw Elena talk with Elijah and I walked the other way. Some girls offered me a drink, but I rejected them all.
"I don't drink."I kept saying, even though the rest of the evening I had been drinking.
"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Waiters are coming round with champagne. I invite you all to join me in raising a glass. It provides me with no greater joy than to see my family back together as one. I'd like to thank you all for being part of this spectacular evening. Cheers" Mothes says from the stairs
"Cheers." I said with my glass of water I ordered. I glanced over at Elena and Elijah and I saw how much trouble Elena was having with having to lie to my brother, but he did drink. People started leaving and I saw Kol and Rebekah talking again. I rolled my eyes and I walked around, I saw Elena and Damon talk and I quickly turned around. Elena knows too much. I saw Kol walk around with an evil grin on his face and when I walked passed him I grabbed his arm
"What are you up to, Kol?"
"Nothing, sister."
"Don't you 'sister' me. What are you up to. Something with Rebekah?"
"No, she chickened out."
"So you admit being up to something?"
"Maybe I do."
"Don't, Kol. Don't ruin our staying here."
"I'll do my best." He pulled his arm out my grip and he left to the balcony. I rolled my eyes. I walk around for a while and I hear a struggle outside. I see my family walk outside with Stefan and I follow them. I see Damon sitting on top of Kol and he snaps his neck.
"Damon!" Stefan yells and I see Elena run. I walk forward
"Are you crazy?!"
"Maybe a little." He looks at Elena
"Far be it from me to cause a problem" Damon leaves and everyone stares at him. They walk back inside and I go inside last. Finn had picked up Kol and had taken him inside. I looked at nothing and I walked inside when all the guests had left. Mother called in me and Elijah
"No violence. That was all I asked. Rebekah and Kol disgraced our family tonight!" Mother said. In her eyes I was responsible for Rebekah and Elijah for all the brothers.
"It won't happen again, mother" Elijah said
"We'll deal with it." I added and mother walked forward and she touched our faces
"Thank you. I wish the others were more like the two of you." Elijah leaves and mother makes me stay. Finn enters and I look at mother. Does he know? He closes the door and looked at mother
"Are we all right to speak freely?"
"Yes. The sage still burns." Mother sits down at the desk and grabs a piece of paper and starts writing things down
"You're not having second thoughts, are you?"
"Of course not. It's just Elijah... He's so moral." 
"You're doing the right thing, mother."
"You understand what this means, don't you? This spell I'm casting tonight will bind you all together as one." Mother says to Finn and I look at them, doubtful
"I understand. When it is time, I will be ready to die." Finn says. He knows about the plan
"Then we must complete the link. Cassandra?" She looks at me and gestures me to sit down next to her. I nod and sit down. She takes Finn's hand and cuts it. His blood falls on the paper and I see the names of my siblings stand on it. Mother holds his hands and I stand up and do the same. Mother and I start casting the spell and I see the blood run from name to name. When the spell is done I look at the paper closer and I recognize a tree.
"The link is complete." I say looking at mother
"You are one." She says looking at Finn. Suddenly the paper caught fire.
"I'm going home. I think I'm done here." I say and I walk out without an answer. I look for my car on the parking, but I remembered I walked here. I rolled my eyes and I started walking.
