68. The full moon part 1

I park my car in the woods behind the lair and walk down the stairs and I lean against a pillar
"Did I miss anything?"
"Cass?" Everyone looked shocked to see me
"Yeah, it's me."
"I didn't expect you to come."
"Scott talked me over."
"Of course he did. Someone help me with this chest." Derek commanded and Isaac was the first to stick out his hands. they laid down the heavy looking chest and Derek opened it
"What is that?" Isaac asked and when I looked at what he meant I saw a sign.
"It's a triskele." I say, recognizing it
"Spirals mean different things - Past, present, future. Mother, father, child." Boyd explains further and I look up. How does he know?
"You know what it means to me?" Derek asks, I have a feeling I know what it means to him, but he ask Boyd more than me, so I don't answer
"Alpha, beta, omega?"  OK, didn't expect that from Boyd.
"That's right." The way Derek said it makes it clear to me he didn't expect it either
"It's a spiral. Reminds us that we can all rise to one or fall to another. Betas can become alphas, but alphas can also fall to betas or even omegas." Derek explains further why he chose the Triskele.
"Like Scott?" Suddenly Isaac got all my attention. Watch what you say now, Isaac.
"Scott's with us." Derek slightly snaps
"Really? Then where is he now?" Isaac is mocking Derek by looking around
"Even Cass is here." He says when his eyes lock with mine. I feel the full moon work in on me. With just a small snap I already want to bite Isaac's head off. Chill, Cass. You're not violent.
"Scott's after Jackson. And I'm only here because Scott made me come."
"Don't worry, he's not gonna have it easy tonight either. None of us will. There's a price you pay for this kind of power. You get the ability to heal, but tonight you're gonna want to kill anything you can find." Derek says
"Good thing I had my period last week, then." Erica jokes
"Well, these are for you." Derek says to me and Erica holding a ring with nails in it.
"Uhm, I'm not putting that thing on, or should I say in my head." I say
"You don't have a choice. Especially you have to do this, Cassandra. We have no idea what the full moon makes you. Even your eyes--"
"My eyes? What's wrong with my eyes?!" 
"They were green."
"What? They can't be green. They can be yellow, red and blue. That's it."
"Yeah, so you get why we're getting extra precautions."
"She has green eyes?!" Erica squeals and she walks over to me
"Show me."
"I don't know how."
"You've seen Scott, right? Picture yourself look like that." I do what she says and I feel a pressure leave my shoulders
"Oh. My. God." She hands me a mirror and I look at my eyes.
"That's impossible."
"Apparently, it's not. It has to mean something. I just don't know what." Derek says looking at my eyes
"Yellow and Blue mean Beta or Omega. Red means Alpha. But green, it just doesn't make sense." he says looking back in the chest.
"Green... That's it!" I went back to my normal color of eyes.
"You got it?" Derek looks back up
"Yeah, if you mix to colors... Which colors do you need to get green?"
"Blue and yellow, but that doesn't make sense. You never--, have you?"
"No, but normally if I go into my 'Vampire' or 'Witch' my eyes go into a brighter blue. Maybe now that my eyes turn yellow because of the bite, and blue for the other things, made them mix into this color of green."
"That's possible." Derek says after a while
"Yay, another thing that makes me special." I say sarcastically and I roll my eyes

We're on our way to Lydia's party right now. ~ Scotty
OK I'm with Derek and if he really is planning on putting that thing on my head, I'm gonna kill him ~ Cass

I finish sending my message when Derek calls for me
"It's almost time. Come on, Cass."
"Don't call me Cass. You lost that privilege when you bit me." He doesn't react to that, but I walk inside the carriage. Derek starts chaining me up
"What if we break free?" Boyd asks
"Then you'll do anything you can to get out of here. Probably try to kill me, then kill each other and kill anything else with a heartbeat."
"Sounds like fun." I sarcastically say and Derek steps towards Erica
"I need you to hold her." Derek tells Isaac and Isaac folds his hands around Erica
"So how come they get to wear the headband?"
"Because they'll be able to withstand more pain than the two of you. I've got an extra one if you really want it."
"I'll pass."
"Can I pass as well?"
"No, you can't, Cass-Andra." He wanted to say Cass, but quickly changed again. He started screwing the headband around Erica's head and I saw her face twitch in pain. She started screaming and I looked away until I started to smell blood. I started to breath heavily, but when I noticed I held my breath
"I need to get out of here."
"What? No. Why now? You have to get the headband, Cassandra."
"No, I'll take the headband, but there's blood and I'm still a vampire." I closed my eyes and held my breath and tried to filter the sound of Erica's screaming out. I opened my eyes again when someone grabbed my hand. Isaac.
"You're turn, I'm sorry." I nod. His arms snake around my body to hold me and Derek held another headband
"I'm sorry, but there's nothing else I can do." I start screaming when I feel the iron pin being screwed inside my skull.
"It's not working. She's healing too fast." I open my eyes and see Derek pull it off my head again
"Seems like you're lucky, Cass." Isaac says, but his knees fall under his body. I try to duck to catch his fall, but the chains stop me before I can
