Sweet Disposition

We see from opposite sides at different times

Our eyes never lock

Avoidance is the new sweet disposition

Sweat trickles down my temple

I fear for the time I look up and see your eyes staring back at me

I keep myself averted, but not for long

I can't help but to look for you in a crowded room

Two different people on two different levels

Feelings could never top the social chain of popularity

So I will continue to fear the day you let it all go just so we could exchange that one glance
