Hey guys! As promised, I have chosen someone to dedicate this to. Well, considering that she was the only person that commented, it wasn't much of a choice... So thanks, XxNeko_sen! And please, please, please comment and tell me how to improve my stories!! In return, I will read all of your comments and reply to them - you have my word! Anyways, let's carry on with the story...

Oh, and something else: If you watch the Shadowhunter films after the books, they suck in comparison. Like, seriously. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH CLARY AND SIMON'S EYEBROWS??? And Jace doesn't have any eyebrows...wow, I have a serious problem with people and their eyebrows! XD

...And pulled her with him as he ran. Damn, she thought. So close...

(Y/N) shook the thoughts out of her head, and followed Jace. She only just met the guy, obviously, he wasn't going to kiss her!

Jace ran through streets and dragged her all the way to a bridge. It arched over a stream, its beautiful water as blue as the sky, rippling slightly in the light breeze.

"It's...beautiful," she breathed, staring out at the wonderful scenery. 

"Well, aren't you lucky! Beautiful sights wherever you look!" He gestured to the water, then to himself. (Y/N) laughed, wondering how on earth Jace was so ... well, Jace! There wasn't exactly another way to describe how self-centered yet non-self centered he was, how selfish but selfless...he was just Jace. A bit of everything mixed into one. 

"So, pretty girl, as much as I love nicknames, I prefer them when I know the actual name. And yours is...?"

"Oh! So, you want my name, huh? What's next, my address?"

"Well, I could use that...ya know, to drop you off and all..."

(Y/N) rolled her eyes, but playfully. "Of course, THAT'S what you want it for. Obviously not to stalk me..." She trailed off, looking purposefully at him.

Jace chuckled but turned away. He seemed worried, (Y/N) thought. He was muttering something. All she managed to hear was a single word - something that sounded like 'demons'. Of course, it couldn't have been that, because (Y/N) was sure that she wasn't hanging out with a crazy guy. Nevertheless, she decided to ask him. Because obviously, that wasn't going to make him think that she had some crazy disease now, was it?

"Umm, Jace? Did you just say demons? Because, you know, I'm pretty sure demons don't exist..."

Jace chuckled. "Oh, how oblivious you mundanes are. If only..."

"Okay, so the whole 'stalker' thing is starting to sound like less of a joke. But, if you must know, I'm (Y/N). (Y/N) (L/N). So, are you gonna tell me why you brought me here now?"

Jace stared at her as if she were the only thing in the world of any importance. It would have been creepy, had it'd been anyone else, but Jace made (Y/N) feel...special.

"Well, if you must know..."

I am SO sorry that I haven't updated in so long, it's just that every single time I got to publish this chapter, I see something that I don't like - so I write it all again. I do that a lot... hehe... sooorrryy... I will try not to do that anymore though. Welp, I hope you enjoyed!
