I stared at my clasped hands that lay in my lap, a tense look on my face. A bead of sweat rolled down my forehead and dripped down onto my cheek.

'Ready, Inner?'

'Yep. Let's do this.'

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, concentrating on opening as many tenketsu points in my body as I could. Inner and I had been training and meditating pretty fiercely ever since our first meditation session, and we had been able to open 6 so far...

'...out of 361,' Inner groaned, breaking my concentration. She flopped back dramatically onto the... floor? and sighed loudly. 'I wish that meditation was easierrrr. Come on, ramen gods, grant this poor little girl her wish?'

'Yeah, right,' I snickered. 'You don't even have the authority to worship them. You don't even have the holy noodle chopsticks of greatness.'

'What's that?'

'...'

'You just made that up on the spot, didn't you.'

'...how'd you know.'

'Anyways,' I continued sheepishly, but in a stern tone, 'it's only been an hour since we've started meditating and you're already tired? Pull yourself together, Inner!'

'Gosh, ok, ok,' Inner said, getting back into position and closing her eyes once more. I smiled, satisfied, before doing the same thing. Furrowing my brows, I focused on controlling the warm ball of energy in my belly and thinning it out, like a stream.

'Waterbending, here I come,' I thought.

The warm, fuzzy stream traveled around my stomach region before transferring smoothly to my limbs. My breathing quickened slightly as I started to focus more intensely. My chakra passed, slowly but steadily, through the 6 tenketsus that I had already opened. I grunted, tensing a bit when my chakra suddenly seemed to hit a brick wall.

'Here it is. The 7th tenketsu,' I smirked to myself. 'Get ready to be annihilated, bitch.'

Breathing heavily, I felt my muscles clench and strain as I gently but firmly pushed against the tenketsu multiple times, before wriggling my chakra around it. Feeling all over it, I smirked slightly when I felt a little bump. Found one.

Thinning out my chakra until it was just a sliver, I slowly poked it through the tiny hole that I had managed to make in the tenketsu. I grit my teeth a bit. Gosh, this is annoyingly hard.

The thread of chakra finally made it to the other side. Finally! I let out the breath that I had been unconsciously holding in a soft 'woosh'. "Now," I chuckled, "to have some fun."

I slowly expanded my chakra around the tenketsu from both sides until the chakra covered the entire dang thing. Then I slowly set the chakra into the tenketsu. You know, kinda like how you can set water into a sponge. Except the process takes way longer.

An eternity and a half later, I was finished dissolving the tenketsu blockade.

"Phew, that took foreverrrr," I groaned, leaning back and lying down on the cool grass. It was already noon, and the sun was high in the sky. I stretched and sighed, before calling to Inner, "You almost done?"

'Be... quiet... have... patience,' Inner hissed, obviously tired from the strenuous activity.

'Ain't nobody got time for that,' I deadpanned.
