Naruto isn't mine, I'm just setting him and my OC up for a little playdate ~

"Oh my fudgecakes with rainbow sprinkles."
My body was still aching from all the exercise that Gai-sensei had put me through the previous day, although it had gotten much stronger. It's been about a month since I started training with him, and lemme tell you, I feel the improvements.
Did I also mention that I could hear the improvements? The way my bones cracked and screamed in pain?
'At least I don't physically feel pain,' Inner sniggered. 'Since I only get the pain that you feel during the moment, after a good night's rest, I'm fresh as a daisy!'
I stuck my tongue out. Wow, that must look weird. I'm licking air.
"Welp, let's get another day started!"
Because of the constant training with Gai-sensei and the additional help of the weights—into which, by the way, Gai-sensei continuously added chakra, so now they're as heavy as A BOWL OF PORK NOODLES—I now had the physical capacity to begin trying to get in touch with my chakra.
Which I had.
Kizashi had, by now, well informed me on the basics of meditation and chakra control. I understood how tenketsus worked, how to meditate properly, and other stuffs.
I brightened, humming as I skipped towards the living room for breakfast. After all that reading and boring shit,' I thought happily, 'I'm finally going to start meditating today!'
"Good morning," I said, beaming at my parents. "Sakura!" Mebuki said, smiling back at me. "Did you sleep well?"
"Yeah, I did!" I replied. "That's good," Kizashi said, lifting me into a hug. I giggled and snuggled into his comforting warmth.
After eating breakfast, I waved goodbye to my parents and went straight towards the training grounds that I was now so familiar with. Gai-sensei was standing there waiting for me.
"Ah, my youthful blossom! Let us, once again, train for the bright future that illuminates our path to greatness!"
'Author-chan is sure having fun with Gai's dialogue,' Inner sighed, shaking her head.
I tilted my head, confused. There she goes again, spouting stuff that doesn't make sense, I thought, mentally facepalming.
"Alright! Now, let's start by adding your weekly dose of chakra into your weights," Gai continued. I let out a heavy sigh, before dragging my sore body towards him. I plopped down on the ground as Gai squatted in front of me, placing his hands on my weights. His hands emitted a faint blue light, and the sakuras in each weight glowed white as the chakra was transferred into them. The white light seeped into the outlines of the designs so that they were illuminated for a brief second, before fading.
I lifted my arm and suppressed a kill-me-now groan. The weight was excruciatingly heavier, and I was already having trouble moving about normally.
'At least you're more used to the pain now,' Inner laughed. 'I guess that means that we'll just have to make the weights more painful.'
'Oh shut it, you.'
I forced a grin onto my face. Oops, heard some teeth grinding there. Gotta be more subtle about my annoyance.
"Cool, Gai-sensei! I love challenging myself to go above my physical limits! Shall we start our routine now?" Inner gagged as I looked at Gai expectantly. Oh gosh. 'My hand slipped and I accidently poured the entire bag of sugar in there. Sorry,' I apologized to her, mentally slapping my forehead.
