            Keith's P.O.V.
Keith woke up the next morning, refreshed after a short, dreamless sheep. He couldn't stop thinking about last night. Pidge. She feels the same as I do about Shiro. Keith thought happily. Remembering that he would have to face the rest of the crew members soon, Keith shook his head and went to the restroom to wash his face.
After this was done, Keith put his tennis shoes and jacket back on. Keith remembered that he still had Pidge's glasses. Yes, a chance to see her again! Maybe I can ask her about Shiro, what it was like for her before he died. But, will it be too soon? I don't understand girls... Keith thought. He didn't even realize that he was already halfway down the corridor to Pidge's room. He hurried down the hall and held the glasses in his pocket.
When he got to Pidge's room, she wasn't there. Keith turned around to go to the control room to look for her when Hunk appeared behind him. "In a rush to get somewhere, are you? Looking for someone?" Hunk asked, raising his eyebrows and grinning as he munched on a granola bar.
Keith knew what he was thinking, and quickly walked away from Pidge's bedroom. He tried to change the subject, "How many of those granola bars did you bring from Earth, buddy?" he chuckled nervously, his pace slowing down as he saw Hunk not moving. "Hunk?"
"I know why you were here," Hunk said, taking another bite of his bar. Keith panicked, had someone seen him breaking down? Pidge, too? Keith didn't want to be exposed, and he was sure Pidge wouldn't, either. "You like Pidge, don't you?"
Keith was about to say no, but it would be good coverup for why he had been standing by Pidge's room. He thought for a moment, and then lied, "Err... yeah, I do." He felt humiliated as he spoke, even worse because it wasn't true, but he didn't want to tell anyone the truth. Not yet.
"Ha, I knew it! Don't worry man, I won't tell anyone," Hunk said quickly, seeing the panicked look on Keith's face. Keith relaxed a little, but didn't know how much he could trust Hunk. He and Lance were best buds, and if Lance knew anything about this... he would never hear the end of it.
Keith and Hunk headed to the control room and found everyone there together. Allura and Coran were talking by the control panel, Lance was practicing new pick up lines (they weren't good ones), and Pidge was fixing something on the side of the control panel. She blushed and went back to her work as she saw Keith walk in.
Keith felt a surge of anger as he saw Lance playing around. How could he do that right after Shiro was gone? He decided to ignore it as he walked towards Pidge. He also ignored Hunk as he grinned and headed over to Lance, If you tell Lance that I "like" Pidge, I'm gonna kill you.
"Good morning, Keith. How are you feeling?" Coran asked, his voice hoarse. Allura nodded at him as she looked down at the control pad. Keith wished he could have asked something else. He had no idea how he was feeling.
"Err... okay, I guess," Keith answered quietly. Coran, for once, kept silent and went back to helping Allura. While they weren't looking, Keith shuffled over to Pidge. He reached into his jacket pocket and grabbed Pidge's glasses. He didn't realize until now that Pidge didn't need them.
"Hey, Pidge," Keith said awkwardly, holding the glasses out to Pidge, "Thanks... for last night." Pidge hadn't looked up from her work until Keith had spoken this. She grabbed the glasses and hastily put them on, hoping everyone else wouldn't notice that she hadn't had them.
Pidge looked back at her work and said, "Thanks for what?" Pidge put two wires together, and they made a big spark, getting dust all over Pidge's glasses. She stood up and dusted them off, still not looking at Keith.
"Err... you made me feel a lot better last night. I just wanted to say... thank you," Keith said. Pidge looked back up at Keith after cleaning her glasses, her eyes twinkling.
"Oh... I was actually going to thank you. It kind of... it kind of felt like Matt was back, you know, my brother," Pidge said, stooping back down to the control panel. She looked away from him again and finished her work on the panel. Keith's heart was warmed and he blushed.
Keith looked away and walked back to Allura, hoping that no one had seen his and Pidge's exchange. "What are you doing, Allura?" she'd been much more quiet than usual, and Keith wanted to help, knowing she must be feeling grieved. Coran looked at Keith, and it was a look that said, Don't ask...
