"Can we take her home for today?" Naomi asked suddenly. "Please Bennett" She pouted.

They tried asking her questions about where she lives or how she got lost. But any of her words didn't quite help them.

"Naomi, don't be childish. How can we take her?" He shook his head.

"I said only for today. Nobody seems to claim her here. So we have to give her to the police anyways. Can't she stay at the base for today only?" She gave him the most irresistible bambi eyes she could muster and he sighed. She knew the look.

"Stop giving me the bambi eyes." He said. She almost fist pumped the air.

But his phone rang loudly.

Stupid phone. She thought.

"Hello?"

"Calm down, Declan. The world is not running out of food." He paused for a minute.

"I am sorry, Jordan. But we got stuck in some work here...so could you order something to eat today?" He held the phone a little far from his ear and Naomi snorted. She could imagine what was going on.

"Please Declan. We are coming right now so order some for us too." He rolled his eyes at something he said.

"Yeah, yeah. You are the great one, King Jordan and I am the peasant." He said in a bored tone.

"And Jordan?" He looked at Naomi for a second. "Expect a guest with us." He said and hung up without giving him the chance to ask him anything else.

He was immediately pulled into a bone-crushing hug.

"Thank you thank you thank you sooooo much, Bennett." She said.

"Ugh! You two hug a lot." The girl interrupted again and this time Bennett laughed out loud.

"And you talk a lot," Bennett said smiling. "So you ready to go to our home?" The girl jumped up and down excitedly.

The car ride was full of Briana's questions about where are they going? How long would it take? Who is going to be there? But they didn't mind at all. Especially Naomi. She seemed to answer every one of her questions with the same enthusiasm. Bennett couldn't help but stare at them with a soft smile. He pulled over outside the base.

"This...is your house?" The girl scrunched her nose cutely.

"Yup" answered Naomi.

"Is there any ghost? I saw a movie where there was a lot of ghost in a house like that." She looked scared. Bennett picked her up in his arms.

"If there is any ghost, I would fight them for you." He whispered secretively causing the girl to nod quickly, her eyes widening a bit. Naomi had to bite her lip to keep herself from aww-ing out loudly.

"You are just like my daddy. He used to fight the monsters under my bed." She said happily and Bennett stopped for a moment. Naomi froze too, searching for any emotion on his face. He bit his lip and then smiled at her.

"Let's go, fight the ghost." He said and they both entered the house.

The doorbell rang.

"MY FOOD!" Jordan yelled running towards the door. Declan shook his head but followed him anyways. Jordan opened the door and was about to scold the delivery boy for being late when the scene in front of him made him halt in his steps. Both of their jaws dropped.

There stood Bennett Frazier with a little girl who had her arms around his neck. Beside him was Naomi Lorraine who was kissing the girl's cheek.

Without even thinking, he opened his mouth. "WHAT DID YOU TWO DO IN THESE FOUR HOURS?" He shouted causing the little girl to flinch and hiding her face in the crook of Bennett's neck.

"Shut up, Jordan! You are scaring her." Bennett scolded as he stepped inside and closed the door behind him.

"And what do you mean by what did we do?" He asked in confusion.

"What do I mean?" Jordan whisper-yelled, careful not to make the girl scared. "You come home with a little girl in your arms when you two are supposed to go to the grocery shop. What did you two do exactly? I want the truth." Jordan glared at them.

Bennett and Naomi stared at each other, his words slowly sinking in. Declan face-palmed.

"Oh my goodness! I can't believe this! Jordan, are you out of your mind?" Naomi shook her head in disbelief.

Bennett whispered a "Can you beat him up for me?" to Declan who cracked his knuckles gladly.

"No, I am not." He said dramatically. "You both are teenagers with an excessive amount of hormones flowing in your body and I don't blame you for losing your control." He shrugged casually.

"How hungry is he actually?" Bennett asked Declan.

"He didn't eat for two and a half hours," Declan stated.

"Makes sense."

Naomi shoved him on the shoulder as hard as she could, causing him to stumble backward.

"YOU IMBECILE CREATURE! WHAT DO YOU THINK, HUH? I WAS GONE FOR ONLY FOUR HOURS, NOT FOUR YEARS. YOU THINK THAT WITHIN JUST FOUR HOURS, BENNETT AND I DID SOMETHING WE SHOULDN'T DO AND I POPPED OUT OUR BABY?" She screamed at his face in disbelief.

Bennett gulped and flushed redder than tomato, Declan was rolling on the floor looking at Bennett.

"You didn't?" Jordan asked in surprise.

"Declan! Please, kill him." Naomi deadpanned burning down Jordan through her glare. He gulped.

"Ok Ok." Jordan held his hand up, surrendering. " I might have overreacted."

"Why is she angry?" Her soft voice whispered to Bennett.

"No need to be scared. She is just angry at the ghost right there." Bennett whispered back.

"Hey! Who are you calling a ghost? Don't teach her wrong." Jordan said, rushing towards the little girl.

"Look what you made me do. This girl is probably scared of me now." Naomi whined.

Her gaze fell on Bennett. "And why are you so red? You sick or something." Naomi raised a hand to touch his forehead, to which he took a step back quickly.

"Don't ask him, Naomi. Or else he would go even more red if it is possible." Declan said, winking at Jordan who smirked.

"I don't understa- oh!"

Guess she figured it out.

"I did not just say that." She mumbled under her breath.

"Oh yes, you did!" Jordan laughed.

"Hey, I am hungry." The girl spoke up.

Jordan's stomach growled loudly.
