"Would you like to explain?" Declan crossed his arms.
As soon as they walked out of the house, the other two musketeers immediately cornered Naomi and Bennett.
"With details, please." Jordan raised an eyebrow.
Naomi, who was fidgeting with her fingers looked at Bennett- who tried to keep his usual calm façade. But she could see the discomfort hiding beneath it.
"There's nothing to explain. We had to give a name and I don't have any other female in my life. So I used her name." He said, casually.
"Do we look like we're the age of Bri?" Jordan pointed towards the girl who was busy playing with his smartphone.
"Explain," Declan demanded. "That little slip up over there."
Naomi gulped and Bennett bit his lip.
"As you said, it was a slip-up. I thought Naomi wouldn't like to tell her parents the fact, so I made up something." Bennett replied.
"And why did you use that specific 'G' word?" Jordan furrowed his eyebrows.
"I-I" Bennett started but Naomi stopped him by standing in front of him, facing them with her arms crossed.
"What's the problem with him using the... "girlfriend" word?" She asked, finger quoting the word girlfriend. Bennett looked down at her from behind, a smile almost threatening to escape.
Declan and Jordan took a step back. Certainly, not wanting to have the Naomi-inflicted injuries again.
"Admit it, then," Declan said.
"Admit what?" Naomi glared.
"That you guys are a thing," Jordan said in confusion, taking another step back.
Naomi paused for a good one minute 25 seconds before saying,
"Yes," She looked at Bennett, whose eyes were wide. "Yes, we are." She faced them again.
"And when did this happen?" Declan asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Why do we need to tell you?" Bennett scowled.
"Yo, first you hide this thing. Then you wouldn't even tell when you two started playing Tinder all alone?" Jordan complained.
Naomi glared. "A month ago." She said through her gritted teeth.
"A month ago...that means almost when Bri came home for the first time." Jordan slowly calculated.
Declan and Jordan looked at each other, then at them. A goofy smile slowly started to appear on Jordan's face. Declan looked at them with an annoyed expression.
"What?" Bennett asked
But Jordan grabbed Naomi's wrist, pulling her a little closer. Then he twirled her around, laughing hysterically.
"Let's go Decca, I'll show you my laundry! I won." Jordan yelled. Naomi looked at them back and forth.
"Excuse me" But she could say anything, she felt Bennett grab her wrist. "First of all, let go of her." He pushed her behind him.
Jordan was still busy laughing but managed to nod anyway.
"...and second, did you bet on us?" He said, annoyed.
"Of course, we did, duh!" Jordan said.
"But the funny thing is, he told me, you guys would take at least a week to smash. But I, Jordan Wallace, told him that you wouldn't even take 3 days. Guess I won." He said, still laughing.
"Shame on you two." Declan shook his head. "I thought you would at least control yourself for a while." He said pointing his finger at Bennett.
"It's not my fault you two have this amazing habit of betting on the weirdest terms possible." Bennett rolled his eyes.
"Also, you both" Bennett looked back and forth at Jordan and Declan. "Go to the base or take Bri somewhere. I have somewhere to go." He said.
"So Naomi-"
"And she's coming with me." He said before pulling her towards his car.
