"So why are we here?" Naomi asked.
Naomi and Bennett were walking by the beach side by side now. After they left Naomi's home, Bennett took her straight at the beach.
It was less crowded for some reason.
"I wanted to...talk about what you said earlier," Bennett said. Naomi bit her lip.
She was afraid of it, a little. The whole ride she kept anticipating about what she did some moments ago. She wasn't even sure if Bennett wanted this. She lowered her gaze.
"You can tell me if I took it too far." She mumbled.
Bennett was quiet for a moment. "I don't think you really know me, Naomi. It's quite simple really. I was supposed to ask first but you did it instead." He said, looking at her.
She looked up, a smile slowly spreading on her cheeks. But Bennett stopped her from saying anything.
"We expressed our feelings to each other almost a month ago. We know each other for long enough to take to the next step. Why do you always feel nervous about it? You're still having trouble trusting me?"
Her eyes widened a little at that. "Having trouble trusting you?"
Bennett shrugged. "I sometimes think that maybe you don't have enough trust in me. Otherwise, you should've known that what I feel for you is not something temporary. And it's not something weak either."
Naomi shook her head quickly. "You are misunderstanding, Bennett. I-I just...you know my situation." She gave a frustrated sigh. "You know how insecure I can be. Sometimes, I feel like I'm not worthy. Of Jordan and Declan's care or your...your affection."
A long paused before Bennett uttered a single word. "Still?"
The hurt in his voice was subtle but unmistakable. Naomi opened her mouth to say something but shut it. What was there to say?
"You don't know how precious you are to me." His tone was calm and quiet, her heart twisted. She stared at him. "More than anything in my life. So, please...please don't underestimate my feelings at least, Naomi. I can really take everything but your rejection on how I feel about you."
"Bennett please, I didn't-" She tried desperately.
"No, Naomi." He stopped her. "We can talk this out. You can tell me what bothers you about me. I'll try my best to change, I swear. I like you too much to-"
"But I love you." She said and Bennett halted in his steps. His head snapped towards her. She was looking at him with those irresistible wide brown eyes, proving him it was the reality after all.
She was facing him right now. Her eyes reflected the setting sun. Her white chiffon blouse was looking a mixture of pink and purple. "Tell me, Bennett. Do you feel the same for me? Did I show enough confidence?" She whispered.
But Bennett was lost in those eyes, still recovering from what he heard. She didn't say anything as they kept staring at each other. (A/N: EEE, THIS IS SO CRINGY>)
"Yes," He finally said. "Yes, you did." He slowly leaned in, mirroring Naomi as their lips touched. Ever so softly, Bennett poured all his emotions and feeling at that moment. Naomi closed her eyes in bliss. His hand rested on her cheek gently, deepening the kiss.
After a few moments when he pulled away and rested their foreheads against each other, the first thing that came out of his mouth was,
"I really love you, Naomi." He breathed.
"I love you too." She said and Bennett smiled as he pulled her into another kiss.
So they didn't notice three figures slowly creeping behind them. Declan exchanges an amused look with Jordan. His green eyes shimmered with mischief as he whispered something to Briana, who was giggling in his arms and mouthed,
"Three"
"Two"
"One!"
"Ewwwwwwwww" The three of them shouted together and they both jumped apart. Staring ahead at the trio in front of them with embarrassed yet annoyed eyes.
"Oh shut up!" Naomi said, burying her face in Bennett's shoulder.
Bennett wrapped an arm around her as he stared at his friends with an annoyed expression.
"Really people?" He asked. "You haven't learned your lesson yet?"
But who listens anyway. They were busy laughing their heads off. Even Briana kept giggling with them.
"How did you even find u- nevermind." He waved his hands dismissively. "Naomi, next time you're with me, do switch off that stupid tracker." Naomi nodded.
"And why did you bring Bri in this?" Bennett asked.
"Well, she deserves to see how her parents are doing, doesn't she?" Declan wiggled his eyebrows.
"Don't forget she calls you dad too," Naomi stated, a little less red from before.
"Trying to change the subject, Naomi?" Declan asked.
"Are you perhaps..." Jordan started, smirking.
"Oh no!" Her eyes widened.
"Feeling..." Declan stretched.
"Don't you dare..." She warned.
"Flustered?" They screamed together.
"They actually did it," Naomi mumbled which was muffled because her head was buried in his chest.
"Mommy and daddy look cute." Briana squealed.
"Not you too, Bri," Bennett said.
"They do, don't they, babygirl?" Jordan laughed.

AHHHHHHH, after these 12 chapters of major cringe-fest, we're finally finished. I am afraid that Rubix might die(If she hadn't already *massive eye roll*) after reading this and watching her precious characters' personalities crumple in my hands.
But she shouldn't make her readers yearn that much, should she? It's been like 97492837042874928375984 years since she updated. However, we will be waiting patiently. Especially me (For my baby Bennett). I mean I absoloutely adore Jordan and Declan but I'm Bennett biased. (Wait, where did BTS come from in this?)
Now, to the 4/5 people reading mah book (I really love you), can you plz let me know your thoughts? I'll be very glad if you do.
Also, (If anyone still cares, lol) a little fact on this story:
It was meant to be a one-shot. So, when I got that idea and started jotting it down, I wrote only one line. It was,
Bennett with a baby
Weird, but I didn't realize that I would streatch it to a 12 chapter full single book.
