"I can't believe she is going back." Jordan said, coming out of the shower.

They ended up fighting with paintballs and Bennett with some magical powers according to Briana came back with his white shirt without a single stain.

"I know right. It was so fun with her that time passed really quick." Declan said.

"But we can go visit her in her orphanage. She'll be happy and we'll get to see her often." Bennett said.

"But Bennett, listening to her, it doesn't seem like a good orphanage," Naomi said, worried for the little girl.

"I thought about it. Once we find her place, I'll shift her into another one that's good." He said.

"It will be better that way," Declan said, looking at the girl who was now dancing with Jordan. He picked her up and she wrapped her arms around his neck tightly, pressing her cheeks against his and giving him a short kiss. Jordan almost cried to let her go.

"I wanna hug Declan too." She said stretching her arms for Declan who hugged her and kissed both of her cheeks, forehead, and nose.

"I wish I could keep her," Naomi said under her breath, sighing under her breath.

After an hour of roaming the streets, they finally found the orphanage. It wasn't really far from where they found her. It was a pale yellow building with a big heading called,

New Life Orphanage

"Is that where you live?" She nodded.

The excitement that was always around her had stopped the minute they started searching for her orphanage. Her non-stop talking died down. Bennett and Naomi looked at each other before entering the building.

There was a playground in front of the building where many children were playing around. They asked a worker for the direction of the chairman's office and headed that way.

"May we come in?" Bennett asked. A formally dressed woman sitting there looked up.

"Yes, sure sure." She stood up, probably hoping for an adoption. They entered. The woman practically beamed with joy.

"We were"- Bennett started.

"-here for adoption, right? No problem. I see you have already chosen your child. Even though you guys look quite young but you both look cute together. Please sit down." The woman ushered them to sit down failing to notice both the teenagers going bright red.

"I am sorry Mrs..." He trailed off.

"D'Souza." She finished.

"Mrs. D'Souza but we are not here for adoption." The light in her eyes switched off suddenly. But Bennett continued.

"We are here to drop her off because she was out on the street and almost got into an accident, yesterday. My friend here saved her." He pointed at Naomi.

"And I want your workers or teachers to be more cautious about this because if she wasn't there, something could've happened to her. Also, she said that the teachers here are not good with kids. You should take some steps for that or else I'll have to complain" He complained. The woman frowned.

"Uhm. Mr. Whatever your last name is, we are very much aware of what we do here. Some kids are just spoiled brats and especially this one. There are so many of them and we can't look out for everyone." The woman sat in her chair with a bored expression. His eyebrows furrowed at the sudden change of her behavior.
