Chapter 3 New Faces

Last time on Dragon Ball New Age. King Kai had recently informed Dende that Goku and the other Z-Fighters could not be contacted with due to the fact that they have disappeared. Knowing his time was at due. Dende told his sons that they contact a new Bach of Z-fighters to defend the Earth of the New threat. Will new defenders of Earth rise to the challenge or will they fall to their shame and regret.

*****(At Capsule Corp. )*****

"Sorry gentleman something just crossed my mind." Said Vekura trying to get back in order.

'Vekura must of heard it too there's no doubt about it. That voice though whatever it ment by the people of the Earth I hope he ment that the strongest fighters come to the Tower.' thought Chard.

"Im going to cut this meeting short." said Chard aloud.

All the executives must of not cared what Chard had to say they just paid attention to Vekura's presentation on the Corporate sales. Vekura was the type of Person who didn't like to be ignored so in order to get all eyes on him he would have to talk louder.

"Excuse me gentleman I'm talking about the good of the company we shouldn't spend much time on this buffoon. "Said Vekura looking Chard in the eyes.

"Ah don't mind me Vekura I'm heading off to the Tower. Just continue your presentation. "

Chard opened the window ready to jump and go to the Tower when suddenly he was stopped by Vekura.

"You do know if you leave this presentation then I will take over as Head Director until you come back. And I believe it will be a year. "

Chard just looked back at Vekura. Knowing that he too has received the message.

'So he did det the message. That means he has fighting potential. '

"You know what Vekura." Chard looked back. "Take the company, if you can turn it around like you said then you keep it."

All of the executives just looked at Chard in shock as if they couldn't believe what Chard had just said.

' Stupid boy,' Vekura thought as he looked at Chard giving him a look of stupidity. ' How on earth is he ever going to get far in life if he never dedicatqes a strand of his own life for this company it makes me sick.'

"Fine do as you wish, just don't bother coming back. " Vekura scolded.

" I don't plan to return" responded back Chard

Chard then leaped out of the window and threw a capsule. When the capsule pop it came out with a hovercraft and Chard jumped in too take over the vehicle. As his last words to the executives and Vekura he said. " See you all in Year." and flew away in too the distance.

*****(With Karnip and Garon)*****

"Garon did you hear that too." Karnip reached out to stop Garon from walking any farther.

"I did, and were not going." Said Garon as he kept walking

" Ah why not! C'mon! It's not like were have anywhere else to go. And besides this could be a new opportunity to become stronger as it is."

"Karnip."

" Then we can become as strong as master!" Yelled out Karnip with enthusiasm.

Garon turned around to yell at "Karnip! Enough is enough. " The yell was enough to put Karnip in his place because immediately Karnip became quite. "Sorry if I was too stern, its just we spent most of our lives training in the academy and for what?"
