Okay so this is what's inside the book that Lucy, Levy, and Wendy find. The picture above is the cover. BTW, Wendy is too young, so that's why she's not affected.

If you're reading this, it means that everyone around you is in grave danger. You have never been safer. First, they will become distant. You'll know what I mean soon enough. They are pushing away everyone they know, trying to find one special person they can't live without.

That would be you.

Once they know it's you, the next phase begins. Second, they will become clingy. It's their way of making it up to you for being so distant during the first phase. Do not reject anything they try to do for you. It will make them very depressed.

The second stage may last a day up to a week. However long it takes them to feel like they've made up with you.

Third, they will become protective. They've established that they can't live without you, and they've become especially attached to you during the second phase. This feeling won't go away. They want you to belong to only them, so anyone they see as a threat will be eliminated.

As phase three progresses, their magic and physical power will increase at an unprecedented rate. This is so they can protect you from rivals and enemies.

Fourth, they will mark you. This doesn't hurt. In fact, it generally feels very pleasant. The mark is a symbol of their element. For example, ice would leave a snowflake. This mark can be placed anywhere on the body.

Do not try to resist. That is seen as rejection, and rejection leads to a slow and painful death due to a broken heart.

The last stage is self explanatory. Fifth, they will mate with you. Be prepared.
