Third, they will become protective.

{LUCY'S POV}
I watch the knife, waiting for the finishing blow. It never comes. Instead, our kidnapper uses the knife to cut our bonds. I'm totally confused, that is until they take off their masks.

"Emery?! Misaki?!" We all shout. They smile triumphantly at us.

"It's Misaki's and my job to make sure mating season progresses with a hitch. We knew you'd give the dragon slayers a hard time and phase two would last a lot longer than it should, so we decided to speed things up a bit. They'll naturally enter phase three if you're put in danger." Emery explains. We cross our arms in unison and glare at them accusingly.

"It worked. Phase three has began and the dragon slayers are approaching this place at an incredible speed. We should leave." Misaki murmurs quietly while have a shuttering fit. I barely understand her words. Emery does, once again picking her up.

"Later then!" He waves and jumps onto the top of the nearest building, escaping by running along the roofs. We stare at where he disappears from, dumbfounded. What do we do now?

"Should we go back to Fairy Tail?" Levy-chan asks to break the awkward silence.

"I guess we ought to." Mira sighs. We went to the train station and, thankfully, there's a late night train straight to Magnolia. We pay for our tickets and board. It's half way through the trip before I realize what Misaki was saying.

"Wait, didn't Misaki tell us that the guys were coming? So if we'd just stayed, they probably would have found us by now, right?" I wonder out loud. All of us sweat drop. This can't possibly get worse.

{NATSU'S POV}
They aren't here. There are ropes and a knife, but no girls. No sign of their kidnappers either. They covered their own tracks well, but I immediately catch Luce's scent, and follow it to a train station. Did the kidnappers run away with them? I grit my teeth, growling furiously. They'll pay.

We go up to a ticket booth. "Tell me, did two people in masks and capes buy tickets for themselves and three others?" I snarl. My entire body is on fire, and I sense behind me that lightning is crackling around Laxus angrily and the bucket of bolts is covered in iron scales with his hands as iron clubs. All three of us release dark and furious auras. For some reason, the lady gets scared.

"N-No one f-fitting t-that description h-has p-passed t-through h-h-here." She squeaks.

"Are you sure about that?" I glare at her.

"Y-Yes. P-Please don't h-hurt m-me!" The lady starts crying. What makes her think I'd do that? She's the closest clue I have to finding Luce.

"Just tell me what trains are running." I snap, exasperated by her. I just want Luce, and to kill the people who took her from me.

"T-Two t-trains have l-left t-the s-s-station. O-One t-to Magnolia a-and t-the o-other to H-Haumaforte. It's a n-not v-very w-well kn-known village." She stutters. No smart kidnappers would take the girls they kidnapped back to the place they kidnapped them from. That means this Haumaforte place is likely where they went.

"Which direction is Haumaforte?" I growl.

"E-East. She points with a shaking finger. Without another word, we leave the train station and head east. I'm gonna save you, Luce.

{EMERY'S POV}
This... is bad. Really bad. What were the girls thinking when they got on the train? Misaki and I can only watch as the dragon slayers and their mates move farther and farther apart.

Was it good? So sorry for the short chapters. I still have some serious writer's block. Anyways, I hope you like it!
