Second, they will become clingy.

{LUCY'S POV}
Clingy? That's the understatement of the year. Natsu has been bothering me nonstop for the the past two days. I wake up, and he's there. I go to the guild, he's there. I go home, and he's there too. I even tried to take a simple job just for a breath of fresh air, but Natsu tagged along and I didn't even get to do anything because he wouldn't let anything dangerous within ten feet of me.

Levy-chan and Mira have been having the same problems. Don't get me wrong, the guys have been super sensitive of our feelings, and really friendly, but a girl needs her space! That's why Mira, Levy-chan, and I are having a no boys allowed party.

We tried to invite Misaki, but she and Emery said they had somewhere to be and sent their regards instead. We wondered what was up, but decided not to think too hard about it.

"When's phase two going to end? I keep trying to do my job but Laxus growls at any guy I get close to." Mira complains. She doesn't seem entirely unhappy about it though. I know she likes Laxus a lot.

"Soon. But phase three gets a lot worse. Their magic and physical power will increase at an unprecedented rate." Levy-chan reads.

"Wonderful." I mutter. There's a thud by the window, and we look up in time to see flashes of pink, black, and blond hair disappearing.

"Natsu!" I yell, opening the window. Looking down, I see Natsu holding the windowsill with a goofy but not at all ashamed expression. Laxus is holding one of his legs, and Gajeel dangles off the other. It would be quite funny, if I wasn't so angry.

"Hey Luce!" Natsu shows off his toothy grin. The other two look like kids who've been caught with their hands in the cookie jar.

"What are you doing?!" I demand to know. He's about to answer when his expression turns to one of horror. I turn to see what's wrong, only to be met by a masked face and a black cape. The mysterious man punches me and knocks me out the last thing I hear is Natsu shouting my name.

{LAXUS'S POV}
We were spying on the girls, mostly to make sure they were okay. I wouldn't have gone if Mira wasn't there. But Blondie caught us. Next thing I know, Natsu is raging and I can't smell Mira anymore. All the girls disappeared without a trace.

"I'm gonna find that bastard and burn him to a crisp!" Natsu snarls.

"Not before I knock him around first!" Gajeel argues. They're too high strung. If they fight now, they'll destroy this place. I whack both of them on the backs of their heads.

"Stop! We need to find the girls first!" I growl, my agitation growing. I need Mira here now. I notice something on the ground. It's a folded piece of paper. I open it up, and we look at it curiously.

Below that is a location in a nearby town. All of us are seeing red. We'll get the girls back. Something changes inside me, and I feel a surge of power. Natsu and Gajeel must feel it too. I crumple the note. We take off, all praying we aren't too late.

If anything so much as touches my mate, they'll wish they were dead when I'm done with them.

{MIRA'S POV}
We look up at our kidnappers. It seems to be a man and a woman, and they work quite efficiently. I was unconscious until a few minutes ago, and I have no idea where we are.

"Seriously? Kidnapping? And those masks? So cliche." Lucy glares at our assailants.

Lucy, Levy, and I struggle to break free our bonds, but the ropes are too tight, so we can't do anything except watch.

Well, not anything. They haven't gagged us. "Wait until I get my hands on you." I threaten.

We shout insults at them, but they don't respond. The woman pulls out a knife and raises it up. I refuse to back down, but a part of me thinks now would be the perfect time to have Laxus show up. He could untie my bonds so I could introduce these guys to my Satan Soul form.

The knife comes down.
