*back at camp*

Eagleflight: Hey Amberlily! have you had time to think?

Amberlily: I- i no.....

Eagleflight: Oh..... *his tail drooped*

*Amberlily walked to her nest guiltily.....*

*the next morning*

*Eagleflight prodded Amberlily who was sound asleep in her nest*

Eagleflight: Hey Amberlily wake up it's time for dawn patrol

Amberlily: mmm.....

Eagleflight: Amberlily wake up!

Amberlily: Uh?!

Amberlily: Oh! what is it Eagleflight?

Eagleflight: Dawnpatrol! *he said running out of the warriors den*

Amberlily: Wait for me!

*Amberlily jumped out of her nest and raced after Eagleflight*

Two days later

Eagleflight: Amberlily you've had enough time!........

*his tone softened*

Eagleflight: Amberlily will you be mate?

Amberlily: ..........

Eagleflight: Well? *he said softly*

*she thought of how Lightningstripe had asked her to be his mate and she did not know what to say*

*but she had known Eagleflight since she was old enough to go out of the nursery!*

*she remembered how once there was a fox that had almost killed her and he fought the fox and he risked his life to save her........*

*Amberlily turned away sadly she could not bare to look at the crushed look on Eagleflight's face.......*

Eagleflight: What?! but he's from another clan!!
